Next South Hills BWW meet is Tuesday October 15th.

And for future meets i think we are sticking with the second Tuesday after the QSL meets to try and keep it consistent and in between the QSL meets. Next two months it will be right in between but January is similar to October having 5 Tuesdays between QSL meets. So the schedule over the next several months is

October 15th
November 19th
December 17th
January 14th
February 18th

We will see how the turnout is in the winter to see if we keep it up.

Getting the P0113 Intake air temp circuit high check engine code off and on lately on my RS. If i were MAF this may be a simple $25 sensor fix. But since I'm MAP the IAT sensor is built into the MAP sensor according to what i have read. I have checked the MAP sensor and connectors and they are all clean. Any suggestions on what may fix this CEL? Getting annoyed!

pretty sure you have it backwards.

the IAT is built into the mass airflow sensors(not 97 though!!?) and the manifold pressure sensor is just that, pressure only. it would be really dumb to put the IAT in the MAP sensor, seeing as it has no flow through it.

This is what my MAP sensor looks like. (1) reads pressure (2) is temp sensor

I should have said visually checked sensor and connectors. no buildup on sensor (clean) and no corrosion on connectors both sides are like brand new. I do have a scanner to check the readings and i didn't see any crazy temps. most of the posts i saw that showed the sensor is bad showed temps like -40 deg C.

The problem is it comes on every couple weeks once i clear it. so i would need someones that is just laying around and run it for like a month. Maybe All Foreign would have one? It's just the ones i find online are like $200. little pricey to find out that's not the problem. Although i'm about out of causes besides the sensor at this point.

That sucks they are expensive. Checka for grounds, rubbing wires, ecu connections etc. Unplug it and try some dielectric grease, make sure rhe pins look good. Have someone watch your redings wile you move your wires around

worst case before buying one is you can just migrate the two wires over to another separate temp sensor. if you know normal values you can pick one based on that. it's probably identical or close enough to the slopes on the coolant temp sensor you can try a one of those? i dont' know what year they switched over to the 3pin coolant temp sensor, but it's phase 2 engines.

The part he is looking for is about 200 dollars cost, if he is finding it online the mark up is only about a 6% and I doubt you can get the part at true dealer cost, no one is that desperate for sales.
