Best aftermarket subframe? If you have upgraded please post!
I am looking at buying an aftermarket subframe, and am trying to decide which one to get. They come in many diffrent shapes and styles, and all are considerably lighter than stock. However, I also noticed that they all see to lie about the amount of weight they will shave off you car buy upgrading.... I will say names, but many say they the aftermarket subframe that they are selling will shave 40 pounds off your car by upgrading to theirs...
The weight of the stock subframe is around 26 pounds, most aftermarket ones are around 10 pounds...... Thats a diffrence of 16 pounds, not 40..... Do you think that they are actually worth it and where are they getting these numbers from?
