I'm not sure if there will be much change in terms of sound let alone performance but the twin exhausts would look nice.
That's true man considering engine and power difference will through out a different pitch but hey if I were you dude if he's your friend just check it out even if its not perfect your still capable of taking it off. At least you can try just seeing it and hearing it out might change your mind the twin pipes would be cool as hell though only problem is cutting the the opposite bumper either way the exhaust system would be sick If it were upgraded

Yeah good point, he works in a shop too. I guess I can have him bolt it on and see. If cutting of my bumper is required I much rather get someone to do it.

If you're just looking for a Dual-exhaust look with a little bit of rumble, finding a stock BRZ/FRS exhaust would be a great way to go. Look on a BRZ forum or local listings, as they shouldn't be too difficult to find.

The one that I found was at Russ' Garage, an awesome local Subaru shop. We were working on my exhaust setup and he told me about an FRS they had just put a Perrin Exhaust on. They still had the stock FRS exhaust sitting in the shop, which is when we compared it to my stock Impreza exhaust.

For those who haven't looked already, the 5-Door Impreza exhaust attaches to only 3 of the 4 hangers mounted on the underside of the car. The BRZ/FRS exhaust can fit onto those 4 hangers without any modification to the car or the muffler.

I guess I will find out the details tomorrow for my friend's stock BRZ exhaust, I believe he upgraded to the Invidia Q300, which the shop where he works sells as well. He did note that the stock exhaust is really quite and has no sound. So I am a bit unsure now but then again anything would be better than the stock exhaust I have now. I was thinking a little under $200 for his exhaust with mid-pipe.

Has anyone seen these?

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/J2-DUAL-STAIN...2a33bb&vxp=mtr

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/J2-TOYOTA-SUB...a46d96&vxp=mtr

They're on sale too. I'm not sure if they would fit properly for our cars though, seeing that the mufflers would take up a lot of space. Here is a thread on the FRS forums about this exhaust. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=22980&page=4 and a personal review. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...9&postcount=16

Also the piping diameter is 2.75", so we would be losing back pressure for our N/A cars.

Lots of info on here about the roof rail removal. Pretty easy except for working a few nuts above the side airbags.

As long as the axleback you install retains 2.5 inch tubing, you shouldn't be losing anything..

Hello all!
It's been a while since I have been on here.
Here is my Impreza that I got back in May of 2012.

I have done outside work although I am looking to slowly work on the engine. I want to maybe get a cold air intake. Could anyone refer me to a thread with some good reviews/opinions?
