I can't find a picture, but Richard Burn's Peugot in Day 2 has to take the cake. Landing on the nose and crushing the intercooler. Man did he fly though. And how about thoes WRC mechanics. I bet they could disassemble and reassemble the enire car in 1 hour.
The best finland rally jump I have seen I believe was last year. The WRX has to be about 10 ft in the air. You can see the entire undercarriage of the car. I can't find it in my archives. If someone has it please post it. It is awesome. |

I think the jump you are talking about is the one where Marko Martin forgot to let off a bit before take off. If I remember correctly, he landed a$$ first and when the front slammed down he dammaged something in the power dept., which slowed him down for the rest of the rally. SICK JUMP
I don't have the picture, but this might help in finding it. |

It was Markko Martin that had that huge jump last year I believe also. If I remember right, they said it was just short of 180 ft. Daylight was reflecting on the bottom of the car. I got copies in mags of it but I didn't have any luck finding it on the net. They used to have it on SCC's website but its gone now.
SWRT doesn't have the shot I was thinking of but they have a few from last year here: http://www.swrt.com/gallery/frameset_gallery.asp |

Is it me or did they do away with the big white number plaque type things on the side of the car? Has it been like this all year. Am I going blind!?!?!

They mentioned it on Rally Xtra Monday night. They are trying it the rest of the season. Probably stay like that it sounded like too.
