Default Will 17x8 rims fit on car?

Hey everyone
I was wondering if 17x8 wheels would fit on my car, like would I need to do any modifications to my wheel wells in order to get them to fit?

I'm assuming 48 offset wont work...thats too bad. I was hoping to get some O.Z. Ultraleggera for my car.

+48 is correct - both my 18x7.5 and 18x8.5 are +48 offset.

None at all - many people running 8.5 wide wheels with no problems. Tires are 225-40-18 and 235-40-18.

you can also easily fit a 245/40 tire and a 255/40 can be made to fit with just rolling the rear fender wells.

YES, 17x8 will fit just fine in a +48 or a +45. My daily driver wheels are 17x8, +48 Rota Torque's with 235/40R17 tires. My race wheels are 17x8, +45 Enkei RPF-1's also with 235/40R17 rubber.

If you are going for wider tires, you might want to look into a different offset or spacers to keep the tires from rubbing on the struts. If you are going to space them out further, you may also need to roll the fenders for clearance.

17x8 45 will fit a sedan just fine. they fit on my wagon and line up real nice with the fender. 225/45r17 or 235/40r17 should fit with no problems.

I am running Rota G-Force, 17x8 +48 with 255/40/17 on an 06 sedan. I'm on Swift springs, but had to roll the fenders.

I'm running 17x8 5zigen FN01R-C's with 245's. I'm at stock height, but the previous owner of the wheels had his wrx lowered on Eibach pro-kit springs and said he had no rubbing issues.
