read my plugs
some facts: 1) after initial tuning (trims zeroed, injectors scaled, MAF scaled) the car feels slow and down on power in closed loop cruising around town. It's almost like a 2L car where you're always going into boost getting the car to accelerate. Vacuum is good at idle, -18 in/hg and will go to -21 under hard vacuum deceleration. 2) the car has a fully built motor with 272 cams TGV deletes ported heads, EWG, FMIC, etc etc 3) getting random misfire codes (stock damper, ACT streetlight flywheel and sprung 6 puck). CEL will come on once every 2-3 days 4) plugs are LFR7AIX (one step colder) gap verified at 0.028" I'm wondering if one of the injectors (the really brown one in the pic) is getting more fuel which has caused the other jugs to run leaner in my attempt at scaling everything. since the front o2 is in control it would have no means of correcting for a cylinder imbalance. opinions are welcome, thanks!

Plugs look exactly like mine (minus the brown one) but with not as much carbon build up. Misfire codes might be because of the lightweight flywheel?

normally misfire code appears during the period when coolant is coming up to temp, so I thought it might be from the noise of the forged motor |

update: car had a bad MAF sensor. Haven't read plugs yet but it runs smooth and strong now.
MAF was working when motor let go (or so I thought). |
