Default brake pad size

Anyone know if the WRX and 02RS share the same size brake pad?

They have the same caliper, so AFAIK they use the same size pads. Only the rotor and bracket are different.

Pre-7/98 RS's use the D721 front pad and the D471 rear pad.

7/98+ RS's use the D721 front pad, but the D770 rear pad.

The '02 WRX uses the D721 front pad and the D770 rear pad.

So, to answer your question, the '02 WRX and the '02 RS use the same front and rear pads: D721 front and D770 rear.

This information is as of 2002 Friction Materials Standards Institute published information.
