I think the WRX sedan in the pic above last pic looks WAAY better than the STI sedan...
and the trunk swap tradition is revived! |

If I was brand new to the STI scene then I would probably be all over the 2011 sedan.
However, being a current 06 owner, I don't see enough of an 'upgrade' to want me to go out and get this new model. I think it looks good.... but again, not enough substance to warrant an upgrade.... However, now that they have the sedan back, I could see a power increase next year for sure.... we can only hope anyway.... With the way the economy was the past couple years, I can see why Subaru would probably want to be a little more slow and steady rather than 'balls to the walls'... We as consumers always want 'balls to the walls' but I do get why companies do some of the things they do (or don't do)! |

The metal strip on the trunk is an eyesore.

for some reason, the STI sedan version doesn't scream "STI" to me. Something doesn't fit in that picture.
Honestly, it looks like someone slapped on a wing with quad exhausts and said, I'm done. Maybe I'm just not used to it yet. |

Is it just me or does the sedan look sweet from the side but not so sweet from any other angle?

from the side, if you cut the front off, it actually kinda resembles the new generation EVO

The front and new grill look good , but that backend is hideous. I'll take a 04-07 STi.

I think the new wing really gives me the Honda FD2 feel. Is it just me being weird or is it true?? |

I really like the new "step up" spoiler and the metal Sti badge behind the front wheel wells.
And totally agree that from the side it looks mean. Although i think the nose needs to be re-done. |

^haha I was thinking the same!
I knew they would bring it back! I love the new STi sedan.... I was never a soccer mom so I wasn't a fan boi of the STi hatch..... Also this was very obvious when I went to Sema 06-07 STi's dominated the scene but as soon as the hatch came out Suby was non exsistane... Wing looks very EVOish, I don't know why I also so get some audi feeling from it from the side and back a bit..... To bad they didn't release this at the Vancouver Auto Show I don't think anything kool has been released here and it would be a nice change! |
