Default Perrin?

Any place locally can get Perrin? Looking at their lightened crank pulley.

Thanks!

I wonder what the true cost difference is for such a pulley vs. oem, and why Subaru wouldn't of opted for a light weight?

I have heard that in some motocross and trials riding you want to add/remove weights on the flywheel depending on the type of driving you'll be doing?

My guess on a fly wheel would be more weight for smooth power over distances, and less weight for quick 'clutch-n-go' driving. Normally I'd say 'lighter pulley? who cares?', but 4lbs is a lot of weight, and my guess is that it unleashes the true freaky nature of the engine.

You gotta tell us how it performs, how hard it was, and what it ultimately cost, even the price of the hookers and the over-night stay at the Motel No-Tell, everything!

I guess I better go search for a wrx that's done this too..

Cool

Lightweight pulley and lightweight flywheel are two different things.

The pulley drives the accessories, so a smaller pulley effectively slows them down, less light, less A/C etc.

Gethin.

This isn't an underdrive pulley though.. It's just lighter, same size..

Last I heard, it takes less power to drive the accessories, thereby freeing up power to the wheels. Less rotating mass to drive the accessories=more hp to wheels. Not HUGE amounts, but good for more than a couple. I've heard it's like taking 100lbs out of your car...

Hi there...

Fukamoto, I want you to know that I will be happy to help you out when you place your order when the time is right. We have more than 20 pullies here in seattle and shipping to VAN is typically very inexpensive.

Cheers,

W1

Hi there,

We would like to talk to you about the problems that you are experiencing with the site. It is functioning at 100% on our end and many report no problems. However some like yourself have been reporting errors and we are trouble shooting them as we speak. I would love to know more about the speicifics of your errors, and what your operating system/browser combo is.

Finally, the secure purchase thing is not "broken," it simply resides inside a frame so the little lock that you are used to seeing and the "https" does not appear in the URL bar. However if you simply right click inside the frame on the shopping cart and go to "properties" you will see that the shopping cart does indeed reside on a 100% secure server. We use only versign 100% sucure SSL encryption and furthermore have our entire system based on a set of constantly rotating variable that could never and has never been compromised.

Thank you, and please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

Now, this is the kinda manner that earned my business. I haven't looked at worldone's webpage before. But I'm kinda impressed here. I'll feel confidence in buying parts from them!
