Make sure to re-grease the Kartboys SS. You can re-use the grease from your stock shifter. They put A LOT of grease in there.

Tell her to order some front and rear Kartboys bushings. Without them the shifts will still be shorter but they will still be sloppy.

With the bushings it removes nearly all of the shifter play and gives you crisp, positive shifts.
+1, but i didnt need any new bushings to make the feel more crisp. Although the stock shifter had a lot of play in it. But every shift has a crunch everytime i put it in to every gear :]

TireRack is a great company to work with, even if the wheels aren't quite as "cool"..

I wish it was easier to browse aggressive fitments on their site they sell Enkie and OZ wheels which are cool

Don't mind the curb damage and hacked tire, I didn't do that!

Yeah they only allow "their guaranteed " fitment when searching through the site when selecting a car.

I wonder what other wheels I could have gotten that were a little more aggressive, but probably still fit fine, especially on stock suspension..

Oh well, I guess playing it safe, and getting that no-rubbing guarantee is a good business model for them..

All stickers say +48 offset only on one wheel +45 is stamped on the wheel hub

Maybe the 5 is suppose to be an 8 and it was a mistake in the manufacturing? Ask wheeldude about it. Maybe those wheels were never made in that size/offset combination.

The previous owner of the wheels did that to them on his RS. They were only on like that for a test fit after installing coilovers. They were really bad! See the tear on the left. And to top it off the tire brand was 'triangle' who the hell buys triangle tires!

Just try browsing other cars that have the same bolt pattern. Lowest offset I found was a +34 when i was browsing for wheels.

Buy yourself a can of plasti dip for 6 bucks at ur local hardware store. There is enough dip to do your trunk trim and door trim. As well as any other pesky chrome pieces.

I did the trim, grill and that lower part on my rear bumper (only 08 was color match) with one can!
And it's under $5/can with tax at my local Home Depot. :P
