Had ordered my car in June when my dealers aid they could still put in the order do 2012, I guess it was because the dealer was part do sdc, but it was changed to a 2013, finally received an update on my order.

Original order 6/20/2012
Order put in 8/15/2012
Car arrival at port 9/29
Eta another 2 weeks

Those 2 weeks can't get here any faster so excited

Lol.

Fortunately I found a legit woman. She finally asked me to teach her to drive a stick the other day so she could be ready for when the STi gets here next week. I started teaching her on my '08 WRX last night. Considering I'm trading it in towards the upgrade, I'll let the dealer worry about the lingering aroma of burnt clutch. Haha.
This is funny, I'm actually getting married oct 20 and at first decided To wait till after the wedding. But I saw how long it may take to get the car so I placed an order 9/10/12, hoping it will come early december.

Btw,planning a wedding and alot harder than I had imagined... But I won't allow her to drive this one, she's taking my 2010 legacy. I figure is a good trade off, she gets a reliable car, and I get my dream car.

Congrats btw!

I remember "planning" our wedding. It involved me saying "yes, that looks great!" and stuffing tons of envelopes.

Thanks. And congrats to you as well! It's not until August 2013. Still have plenty of time to get all of the details ironed out. All of the major items are done...just the minor things.

And for the record...she know's she won't be driving it but on the rarest of occasions. Or at least that is what I told her. 6 speed with reverse in a different location my throw her off her game anyways. Haha.

Aside from the participation of a 3 hour engagement photo session...so true.

I didn't get a VIN or ETA until 6 weeks after my order was placed. All they told me when I placed the order was that it typically takes around 6-8 weeks. Patience, grasshopper.

Nice! Mine has been way into learning to drive stick for a bit now (my old car and her current car are both AT). And she insisted that whatever new car i get be a stick! Im excited to teach her! But also terrified what's gonna happen to my brand new clutch!

After haggling with dealers for a week, finally placed an order last weekend. 13' WRX Limited hatch in SWP with miroor/compass & homelink.

Got it from Subaru of Ontario for sale price of $28,400. I feel like it was a fair price.

I know but its looking like its gonna be 16 weeks! All I did was order a WRB with Nav and it takes 4 months to get that to WA?

I'm thinking about canceling my order b/c my wife (who the car is for) is leaving for Korea (Army) in Dec and she wont even get to drive the car I bought her

Anybody know how long an order's status is typically on "released" before being "shipped?" I'm going on three days of being "released." Release where??? Into the wild??? NNNNOOOOOOOOOO
