Default neccisary to flash back to stock before oil change at the dealer?

i have an appointment later today to get my 7500 mile service, i'm currently stage 1. do i need to flash back to factory before i take it in?

no, if it's only for an oil change. They guy doing your oil change will not run any diagnostics on your car unless he is told to, all he wants is to be done with your car and do the next one.

Do you have identifiable performance mods on your car?

I've heard that some dealers will take a record of these in case warranty claims come rolling in later. In tos case who knows, they may scan your ecu. Most won't though.

Risk of dealer finding out and causin you grief: low.
Effort and risk to flash and reflash: low.

Your call.

i only have front and rear sway's, beyond that i'm stock.

i ended up just re-flashing to avoid any issue.

i will say i am surprised that actually did an alignment and not just a rotation.

About the only risk I see is if the dealer has an ECU update for you year and model car and decides to re-flash your ECU... If the ECU is locked and he can't flash the updated map he knows there's some foolery going on, and if he can still flash the updated map onto the ECU then your AP will not recognize it anymore so you would be SOL...
