Default FS: Prodrive Alcon Big Brake Kit.... WRX Fitment. Pretty much amazing.

These are straight sex, thats really all there is to say about them. I've quietly had them stored away because I really wanted to use them, but I ended up changing my hubs and they wont work on my car any more.
What I have is a Prodrive Alcon 330mm Big Brake Kit for any model year WRX or other Subaru with 5x100 bolt pattern. Pads and rotors both have good life left. Calipers were painted black in a previous life for a more stealth look. Perfect candidate to be refinished and looking dead sexy again in no time (my original plan). These include everything pictured below, which is all you need to bolt on to your car. Asking $1400 picked up Edit: Price Drop: $1200. Thats a small price to pay for sex in brake form I think, especially since they are $2200 new!

[stock photo removed because actual photos are below]

more info here: http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop...-kit-p-30.html

new photos of the brakes as of 12/8/07:

[quote=Wrinkleboi;20314126]here are some new photos that dont do them justice at all. 99% of the print is stripped off so all the hard work is done. clean them up and use them as is unpainted which is a gunmetal metallic color, or paint them the color of your choice.

thanks... these are brake heaven in my eyes... I'm dumb and went to a 5x114 hub with Brembos and now my car basically just looks like a stock STi, but thats another story for another time.
Anyway, I cant use these and although I plan to get a gc wagon sometime, I dont know when that will be so I can't hold onto these any longer.
I'll try to get actual photos before the weekend because that white super clean photo I posted above really weirds me out, haha.

Do you have to use Prodrive rotors when replacement is necessary?

i'm honestly not sure... i do know that the pads and rotors are both in good shape though so how long they last would depend on your driving i guess.

actual photos: (updated caliper photos are above, but all other components are pictured here... also have brake pads of course but those links are broken now for some reason...)

started to strip black off the back of one to see how it went, left silver underneath but i'd still give it a fresh coat to make it look new again

bump for ^^flakers^^ who don't hesitate to back out on their word or a handshake.

these brakes are still available, and i am willing to sell them for a FIRM $1200 picked up, in person, in cash.

rotors have 27mm on them (28mm new) so they have PLENTY of life left. i would guess that the pads have half their life left. everything is in great shape and can be used as is in 'stealth black' or brought back to their bling bling original finish with a $30 caliper painting kit.

lets get these to a deserving new owner...

Pretty nice brakes!!! Weird Prodrive picked 330 for the rotor size since Brembo makes kits just like that in 332 and 328.
