Would you guys think Sams Club can do it or would i have to go to Subaru Continental?
The cheapest/best place is Continental, I sent my dad there the other day, he was looking for tires for my brothers G6, he saved a few hundred dollars at Continental and got better tires IMO (he shopped around too). I am sure Sams Club can do it, but I would check prices with Continental first.

HANKOOK ftw.

Well tudor wasn't to bad until I got more south side of anchorage. Around New Seward it started getting slick. Still snow on the ground. Glad I changed over the tires yesterday.

Went and played in the snow, had a snowball fight with the kids. Here's a couple pics of the scenery.

It's going to be a long winter

Supposed to get 2-6" by tomorrow night. Should make things fun. No time for me to do the tires on either car. It's not supposed to snow yet, dammit....

Yeah, snow is better then ice...just not ready for either yet, I guess. The last few years it's been late getting here, so I am not prepared...I actually love snow, and driving in it

But, the mini-van fambile is not ideal for toting kids around with summer tires, so I'd like to rectify the no stud situation on that ASAP. Don't mind so much in the LGT...it's actually pretty fun.

people are stupid people are stupid people are stupid people are stupid

AGAIN today I almost got hit on a right hand turn in the outer lane, thank goodness for ninja like reflexes and foresight!

(woman in the inner lane in a Jeep Cherokee was on her cell phone, didn't want to wait for the guy crossing the 3 lanes open to turn and swerved towards me never once seeing me till i laid on the horn ad screamed out the window "GET OFF YOUR ****ING CELL YOU STUPID BITCH!") yes the horns were out and helmet wasn't even on!

the drive in was just as aggrevating, rubberneckers on the 3 serious accidents THAT HAPPENED 3 HOURS OR MORE BEFORE!

Grrrrrrr, time to start listening to Yanni on the way in now...

It's probably a little earlier then usual, but not abnormal...just depends on the year/weather. We had a crappy, cold summer, so it shouldn't be surprising that winter would come a little early. The problem isn't the roads, usually...it's the idiots that forget how to drive in the conditions.
