Does anyone know if an 08-10 WRX gauge cluster will go in a 02-07 WRX?

yes it will physically go.. Will it directly plug in? nope... will you have to splice/solder? yep... Will it require custom fab of a mount, surround & trim, you 'betcha..
Sorry my friend, you knew the answer before you posted the question. If you have been a member since 2006, then you know better than to post a thread like this on NASIOC.... c'mon man.... This is like asking if a 4G63 Evo engine will fit in a Bugeye... sure it will... what are you willing to do to make it happen... An extreme example but the same applies... its all about WHY you want the '08 cluster & then how much $$ & time you are willing to put into it. I know you will get a pissy reply, that's cool, but the reality is everyone will want to know "why bother"? Rob |

Nasioc has really gone down hill. I asked a simple question. I expected someone to answer who actually knew what they were talking about. How unreasonable of me. |

He answered your question. Yes, it will fit, but not without a lot of work. You'd have to modify it. Is there something incorrect about this answer? |

The OP seemed to not ask the question he wanted answered to begin with so I don't know why he's getting pissy. The answer to the original question is yes...anything is possible with enough money. Now if he had asked "Will it go without modification/fabrication" then he'd have a right to get snippy. Couldn't this question be answered by a simple google image search? The two clusters are not the same so it won't be plug and play...like has been said, it can be done with some fab work but doesn't seem like it'll be easy. Anything is possible with enough money.

Wow OP needs to learn how to talk to ppl. Your question was answered in the first post and you gave him ****. Then it was answered again with the same result and yet you still gave the ppl that were trying to help you ****. So lets try this again
NOT WITHOUT MODDING IT Now get the **** out of here if you are going to be a dick to the ppl that try to help your stupid ass b/c just from looking at pics you can tell that it will not. |

the new clusters run a canibus technology and for that simple fact its going to be very complicated to make it work. good luck.

It appears as if OP still has the broom up his ass. Xan, you're right, looks like he has all those bristles up in there too. Don't say NASIOC has "gone downhill" you got a damn answer, yet you give some attitude like you're a 15 year old girl.

canibus? haha. And yes the new cluster does run can-bus technology. (the kind without THC) So not only would you need to do some serious modding and fabrication to get it to fit and look proper in the dash, you would also need to worry about the electronic aspect as well. Not sure there would be a simple way of doing sans swapping ecus and running an entire new wiring harness or a crazy amount of splicing.

never mind, i'm confused now. B/c my friends 03 WRX has his tech on the right and it is half an oval, not in the center as circular
