Nice, good luck, I'm going out in a few weeks, gotta call Rick in the morning
They are a nice bunch of guys down there. Jorge is a great tuner, he knows his stuff....

anyways I went with a conservative map, made exactly 300HP and 276TQ. Big difference over the OTS stage 2, but damn is the EWG loud! Hopefully I will be able to make it to the meet this week to meet some of you guys and show off my setup

haha, YES! so today i bought some bigish delta regrind cams for Dave's old busted 2.5(o4 or 05, but THANK YOU DAVE!!!) thats getting rebuilt for the wagon. hehe.. hell yeah. it's ON now!! i dont' have much time, but i'm going to port the heads a little while they're off too.

so i'm goign to be using the SMT6 i have lying around from teh GLHS to tune it when it's together, but i want to raise the redline to take advantage of the cams and header etc so i think i'll need the MAF DOHC 98 RS ecu which is bolt in, but i don't know what it's redline is vs the 6200 or so of the 97 2.2l ecu.. so if you know..

i realized this evening(morning!?) while workign on a spreadsheet, that i'm working on ~9 things that most people spend their free time on. all their free time on. on like one of them. and then i have my business taking up MUCH more than 9-5 ontop of it. and then i help a bunch of you guys out too!
also realized that after this wagon engine gets done.. 5 of 5 of my cars will have at least engine and brake swaps! larger and more/turbo engines and more built drivetrain than stock i have like 3 helical diffs... yikes. either i have a problem, or you guys just aren't up to par!

did you not read you lummox!?! i got CAMS! and ride, hell you can DRIVE the s14. i want you to know firsthand the drivability of powerful NA and the unnecesarity of silly turbos and their woosh woosh of variable boost. supercharged or NA. less power be damned, it's more fun and the noises are better!(yeah i said it, bov and open dump wg are gayness! it's all about the synchronized growl and bark of properly merged long tube headers and the roar and harmony of a trumpetted intake or the gear whine of superchargers reduction stage...

Sweet! Hurry up then I want to drive it!

Jason, I do know firsthand the drivability of powerful NA and I love it, but I also love the "silly" turbos and their woosh woosh. Open dump EWG are fun in the same way that a train horn is fun. You don't have to try to blow out my candle to make yours burn brighter!

I'd trade the swap for a brand new Cayman S in a minute. Find me some remorseful rich guy who just bought one that would rather have a headache of a project car with more power.

it's my wrong opinion to not like turbos anymore. my tastes have changed, i like to think it's wisdom...

your candle isn't tied to my opinion.. is it?

All of this is true only if enough CID is present and the most is made of it. My wagon is as fast as my Hemi Cuda was and a lot more useful. You refer to your car as an S14 using JDM nomenclature but you have a usdm motor. I call mine a 240 and it has the JDM motor. We are weird

I will be bringing my 240 to the June meet. Maybe.
