i'm doing a build on a vf52 too.

What i gots planned,

-2010 wrx suspension (cheap and stiffer, bolts right on, got mine for 150)
-vf52
-perrin tmic (or any after market intercooler)
-Grimmespeed EBCS
-DW65c

I already have a turboback and AEM CAI

this is off the build in TorquePerformance

I went this way. Even bought the springs from a 2010 WRX. (Perrrin catted downpipe, Grimmspeed EBCS, Walbro 255, Turbo XS Intake) have not bought the IC nor the CBE. Coming from a Perrin stage 1 and COBB stage 2 (w/TD04) I can tell you that the VF-52 is worth the swap. I do miss the low end punch of the TD04 but the top end of the VF-52 is a lot better. With the IC and CBE the low end punch should improve thou. The 2010 springs just feel slightly harder. The biggest difference came with a 20mm rear swaybar and end links.

i gotta save money for summer school now but hopefully i'll get swaybars around christmas time. I also got a perrin inlet tube as well so hoepfully the lag isnt to much.

Glad you made me feel better about dumping loads of money on her

Low reading dyno? My 08 was 234 and 298 I think at Mach V.

Coming from an 08 stg 2 TP map and going directly too my current 13wrx at stg 1. The stg 1 on a vf52 is faster and alot more drivable then the stg 2 08. Power delivery is tons smoother and feels like a completely different car at 4k+. The only thing I miss is sometimes the quick spool torque helped in daily traffic with less downshifts.

vf52 is a great upgrade for those doing it.

This is a more or less off the shelf map, so I wouldn't expect too much. I think a 2.0l on this dyno puts down around 160whp.

I was on epic egr springs but they blew my stock struts, so I went ahead with some bc br coilovers. Was thinking about doing the bulletproof upgrade for the intercooler situation until i can get an aluminum one. Vf52 is definitely on my list though
