Default Interior Swap: Impreza to STI little by little. but need an answer.

Slowly converting my 2.5i interior to STI, but ran into one problem that I can't find any real answers.

I have a buddy who has a wrecked 06 STI, ready to give me whatever I need.

I have the center console panel, the A/C knobs along with the white box that they're connected too.

I can see that with the 2.5i, the A/C system is entirely manual, and I would need alot more than just what I have to do this conversion, so the question is..

what all else do I need from the STI to complete this center dash conversion?

Lots.

The auto HVAC system has a bunch (a ton) of temp sensors and wiring that your 2.5i doesn't.

You'd need all associated wiring, temp sensors and the entire heater core and blower box from the STI.

I recently did a complete STI interior swap on my 07 2.5i 4eat. Everything from the carpet to the door panels mount directly. The center dash consul I changed out the shifter trim with the STI direct clip on makes it look clean and nice as for the A/C I kept it original still looks sweet and for the lighter portion, the STI has the AUX port in the ashtray slot, so I just plugged the lighter in. The issue that you will encounter will be the air bag. The STI seats on my car throw the CEL light, probably the ECU detected a safety issue with the original chairs not found. But above all it's a great swap.
