Question AccessPort Part #

I just ordered an AccessPort for my '03 WRX. In the confirmation email, it stated I ordered part#AE-WRX-PORT-04.

I want to say that I was careful and did try to order the '02-'03 AccessPort, but I'm concerned that the wrong part was ordered because the part number ends in "04". Is "AE-WRX-PORT-04" the correct part number for an '03?

I tried to email Cobb, but they have yet to respond.

Thanks

I ordered the AccessPort for my 02 WRX a few weeks ago. I just double checked my confirmation email and the last two digits are in-fact "02". Just give them a call, you have plenty of time to correct this if it is wrong. They're still pretty back-logged, I was told no earlier then the first part of May for mine. Good luck.

At least you guys got a confirmation. I ordered mine 2-3 weeks ago, and never got any e-mails. I e-mailed them a week ago asking to confirm my order and never got a reply.

I'm kind of pissed.

Last email reply I got from Cobb was 20 days from when I sent it. Try calling them instead; success of AccessPort has these guys scrambling to fill orders and email response is really slow.

gr8-wrx you have the right port #. I just spoke with Cobb this morning about PROBLEMS with my AP, and one of the questions they asked me was to confirm that my port # was port-02...(I have an 02).

The port number for 03-04 is port-04.

Are you sure? The 2002-2003 use the same maps here at http://www.cobbtuning.com/wrx/accessport. Others with a 2003 have part number AE-WRX-PORT-02 according to posts in Cobb's forums. I have a 2004 and have part number AE-WRX-PORT-04. I'm pretty sure the 02-03 use the same accessport since the ECU programming is the same in those years. Subaru completely changed the ECU programming in 2004.

Actually now I'm not so sure, no. I apologize for the post. My brain is fried after I spent my weekend trying every possible combination to get the dang AP to initialize, and posting for help on every forum.

I spoke with Cobb this morning, but right now 2+2=5...

FYI, I just got off the phone with Cobb. He said he did see that the wrong part# was ordered, but he corrected the error because I had put "2003 WRX" in the description field.
