Default Coilovers-Houston

Thinking my next upgrade will be coilovers. Know of anyone that installs, tunes, and aligns for coilovers in the Houston area??

BC coilovers-BR is what I'm looking at buying.

I saw in the sticky that Gillman Subaru does but would like to hear your opinions. Maybe some of y'all went somewhere and really liked the service you received.

Thank y'all.

Check the sticky on the top of the TXIC sub-form. "Where do I get my Subaru worked on".

Okay, thank you. I'll probably just get Cobb(Plano) to set me up with an appointment on a Saturday and just get my intake and AP at the same time.

Thanks monsta121 for replying.

Go check out TNA Performance, he's much closer than Plano and does really good work.
He just installed my BC BR, couldn't be happier.

He can do intake too, accessport is extremely easy to DIY. Literally just plug it in and follow the steps onscreen

Yeah, I would be installing the CAI and AP myself. I'd simply be going to Plano just for the coilovers to be installed, adjusted, and aligned.

Did you buy the coilovers from him?

Could you post a picture on this thread so I can see what your's looks like? If it's not too much trouble for you...

Just checked this guy's website out...the pictures of his 2008 Tribeca were taken in my hometown by our rice towers. Haha. He's in New Caney which is only like 40-50 minutes from me. So thanks for that info!!!

No need to drive 600+ miles just for coilover install

He doesn't sell parts, he just does install. BYO parts.

I didn't slam mine or anything, left it at 25" fender to ground so I wouldn't have too many problems driving around.

I need to actually look over his site again, I haven't checked it since he updated it last. If you wanna talk to him in person come out to the central houston meet on Saturday, he said hes coming.

Oh and btw, expect adjustment to be an extra cost. Since you basically have to almost fully uninstall the coils to adjust them, he charges extra for getting the exact height you want unless you know it ahead of time. Not that its expensive, his rates are the best I've seen anywhere for quality work.
If you're getting BC BR you're welcome to come to the meet saturday and check out mine to see if you like that height, then you can just adjust them to my specs before install and not have to take them off to readjust

Thank you so much. Yeah, I really like how yours looks in the pictures. I'll try and be at that Saturday meet. I'm going to try and install my sway bars if my endlinks get here by Friday.

Cool, hope to see you there. Info is posted on the last page over in the Rusty's Central Houston Meets thread
Front or rear? Rear is cake, dont even have to get the car off the ground.

Install takes me about 2-2.5 hours, adjustment if needed another 1.5 hours. I will be at the central meet Saturday night as he said, and Coffee and Cars that morning.

Both front and rear. Yeah, if I didn't have to remove the splash guard then the front would be easy too.

Sounds good Todd. I got your email. I'll try and make it out on Saturday and we can talk about it or something.
