I might be old fashioned but there is an acura RL black with black rims that looks very sweet. I agree that on the Impreza's that the look is old and for the most part our drivetrain eliminates the possibility of nice offset/wheel choices to pull it off "pimp my car ride" style. I do think that on the right car, black on black still can look unbelievable! |

I was actually thinking of doing black on black, going to 18 x 9.5 with 275/35 toyos. I also seen a couple of subies that look awesome with the black on black, again just my preference.

I was even thinking about going completely down the unbeaten path with white on black. Any good examples of that that you guys can think of? I know it sounds ridiculous, but I'm just curious.
EDIT: http://www.motorauthority.com/images..._shots_001.jpg ^ Doesn't look horrible, but I don't know about on my wagon. |

lol, I didnt think about the oreo stud connection. I think white wheels on a black car is kind of Fast and the Furious/Rice, or all out road racer. Not my first love in color combinations but a distant third. Have you looked into a gun metal or bronze?

I kinda want to go absolutely stupid with it, i.e. the pink or orange wheels on TireRack. But it'd have to be a track monster to be able to get away with that. I couldn't rock those on the street because everyone would just think it was rice. I'd need about 400whp to back those wheels up, which won't be happening for quite some time.

^^The new body looks pretty good but no... Get a G37, 370Z etc. if you want a sports car.

Thats one of the overlooked bonuses of driving a wagon, you dont have to nose out the competition to really win. If you can hang with 302's 2010 mustang and not get monster stomped, you actually one because there is no real explaination to the other driver why he/she couldnt shake a 4dr wagon. That is one of the biggest frustrations that a friend of mine had with his z06, it would piss him off that he couldn't just dust my car. His ego was so built up that he had a 500hp v8 that he couldn't loose a 4dr grocery econo car. Now he both this new vette thats crazy and I have no hope to keep up with it. its a zr something.... |

It's a hard sell through at a MSRP of 34,000. I'm VERY tempted to just wait a year or two and pick one up used as I know it'll be A LOT cheaper. The 370Z has also caught my eye. I should REALLY just keep the Infiniti for another 2 years and actually PAY OFF one of my new cars...but it's an enticing market between the CTS-V, used newer Z06's, cheaper Mustangs, and even the G8 has caught my attention. |
