Finally fixed the outer CV boot and mounted my painted BBS wheels (black). Next purchase is the V-Limited front lip from MachV.

low brake fluid is an indicator of worn friction material. Or if its real low, a leak. I never top off my brake fluid as the level shows me how they are wearing. Chances are you may need to replace your pads if the brake fluid was that low...

Yuuuuuup
My fronts are a bit low, but the last time I messed with the brakes I had to remove a caliper because of a seized bolt. I probably didn't add enough. Soooo problem solved ;-) |

I really hope you didn't add to much fluid. When you go to do your front pads, you are going to most likely make a mess when you compress the pistons on the front calipers. To each their own. |

As I said, I had to remove a caliper a wile back and most likely didn't add enough fluid.
I know how to do brakes, I've been working on cars since I could stand. Thanks for all the info though As far as what I did with my car today, I stared at it coming out of Walmart. Last edited by EvileyeZ88; 06-10-2012 at 10:51 AM. |

I think the next day I have free is the 23rd, although, I don't believe removing my down pipe is an option. : /
I do have an exhaust manifold, trans mount and crossmember bushings that need to go on too. Forgot I loaned out my Tatrix cable though, so I won't be able to turn off codes. Last edited by Matt_H; 06-10-2012 at 12:37 PM. |

Heh, well I haven't been under my car since the rotated setup went on, so it could be easier, or much harder. I'll have to crawl under it one of these days to give it a look.

Hoping to finish my car up today. The whole rear end, bleed brakes and clutch and then flash the new map made by Phatron.

Just did the parking brake bypass for my Pioneer HU. Will be running the satellite radio antenna and mounting that unit later.

Installed intake, radiator plates, belt cover, turbo back exhaust, uppipe, heat shields, bypass valve, pitch stops in 2... yes 2 vehicles. Sold my acces port for the WRX, and had a prospective buyer come by the house and take the WRX for a test driver after it was returned to stock. I am ****ing spent and so sun burnt it hurts to flinch.

Fought the rear end stuff yesterday. (Rear diff, lateral links, trailing arms, hubs) It took waaaaaay too long to get just two bolts out. I was able to put the r180 diff and driveshaft in before I needed to get ready for work. I knew this whole swap was going too smoothly for nothing to happen.
Almost done with this crazy swap. It also sucks having to do most of the work by myself. I get a friend to help for a couple hours here and there. I fired her up again to find any leaks, saw there is a few small exhaust leaks (header flanges and header to uppipe.) One small coolant leak at the back of the motor as well, just a bad clamp I presume. I got my base tune from Phatron this weekend as well, that will be flashed once I can drive and do the logs. |
