Default 500-600 Awhp

No, I'm not planning on doing this [unless I win the lottery].

I'm just curious, how would you guys go about building a streetable 5-600whp monster? Super high compression EJ25 with built internals? Super high-revving EJ207? It's an interesting question.

With the way things are going in California, we will all be forced to drive hybrids. But, we can always dream....

Would stock v7 heads handle that kind of flow?

Trial wastegate? lol.. I need one of those.

My guess would be V7 engine/tranny, GT40R, PE injectors, UTEC/Hydra/AEM, TBE (duh!), FMIC, and a VERY good tune.

but what do I know? I'm only a kid

the gt35r can make 600whp, with a built engine, ecu, nice IC, and c16 should be no problem...

I wonder if there's any way to actually make boost at a reasonable level with a GT35R, however.

a freind of mine made 615 whp at 25psi on the 35r on a 3sgte (2000cc mr2 turbo engine). 25psi is not that bad at all for 600 at the wheels.

....displacement.....a 2.8 would spool it nicely, I should think......and make an easy 5-600whp.

"make an easy 5-600whp"

Anyone here can tell you, this is never easy. If it was they would be everywhere.

If you are planning on doing this yourself, I would plan on a full year of on/off garage work getting everything together and running properly.

Ver 7 Block, Ver 8 Heads, GT35 R with supporting mods 25-28 psi on c16 should make 500 whp or more.

Start by buying a z06 or c6 corvette; or an 03 mustang cobra/supra if you just want a dyno number.

I would not use a V7 longblock for 500-600awhp. It will hold but not for a long time. Def do not even consider it for a reliable setup.

I would run bigger heads then a V7 and a lot lumpier cams as well.

what about a v7 longblock for 400-500awhp? would that be reliable? like if you run the car on a conservative tune. I am getting this setup very soon.(v7 with a gt35r).

Stock 2.5 block with forged pistons(debatable), dual Walbros, 850 injectors, Ver 8 heads, and a T04R. Just make sure you are at 8:1 compresion. Those heads have small combustion chambers. Crawford can help you out. Not expensive to build either. Just save for a 6mt and R180.

How long do you want the engine to live. That is the real question that drives price. Start sleeving blocks and price goes up but it is not required to actually make the power.
