Default what is the Cheapest WRX dealer in Houston?

okay, i went to gillman and i talked to them for a brief period of time, seems like they don't want to really go down much on the msrp price, they said they would on the gay demo wrx that has been abused, floored, don't let the turbo cool down, door dings, etc. so is west houston subaru any better? i know they have a bigger inventory on wrx's. if i got a silver wrx with just a spoiler from gillman, they could find me one and get it transported. so any help from any people who bought their wrx's from houston is greatly appreciated.

Thumbs up West Houston Subaru

West Houston Subaru, according to most, seems to be the place to go, both for sales and service. They sponsor Texas Subaru Motorsports, in addition.

For I-clubbers, they throw in some freebies with a new purchase and don't markup the yellow WRX. But you'll still probably pay MSRP (or close to it).

Gillman did not have any enthusiast salesmen that I could find and I got the impression that they would hassle a guy for installing an aftermarket boost guage, although I could be wrong about that.

One more thing about West Houston:
They will give people who refer a customer (that buys a car) $100. I will gladly split the referral fee with you.

I have no real experience with Gay Subaru (or the gay Gillman demo, either)

Default Gillman Subaru

well ive dealt with Gillman on a purchase with my cousin recently, and can say taht yeah..they dont come down much on the price...but im guessing it depends how well u haggle..im guessing around 1000 off the msrp is prolly norm.

anyways, if u need a referral lemme know...they do the 100 dollar referral too at gillman..i think its a company policy not a dealer..but i could be wrong.

I worked with Alan at WHS, but we couldn't strike a deal - they were insisting on MSRP, plus they offered me an insultingly low amount for a very clean trade... no sale. I've decided to blow off the WRX. BUT... they called me back recently, and may be seeing the light now that the car market is going down the tubes. They have almost two dozen cars in stock - go see Alan and take a hard line. As for Gillman, I wouldn't buy a car from them if my life depended on it

Yeah I went to Gillman once and will never go again. There service department is rude and not customer oriented.

Default i chose gillman

i talked to alan (twice)at WHS he would NOT budge off the MSRP.

i talked to Shawn at Gillman, and he knocked off $1000 over the phone on any WRX.
In person I eventually got more off msrp

i didn't want to be freinds with anyone, i just wanted to by the car at the best deal available.

i will only service my car at WHS.
Too bad i couldn't buy it there, they are less than a mile away from my office.
