Going to take you a while to get used to it and shifting. Hope it doesn't take me forever to get used to the fast 1/2/3 shift on mine .

Right. You should keep both hands on the wheel UNTIL you shift. Then you take the hand off, shift, and put it back on the wheel. Much much safer. No excuse to do otherwise except in first gear. You aren't steering the car with the shifter. You are steering it with the wheel.

Yes father. I need to work on that. I just have a hard enough time not missing shifts even if I don't take my hand off the shifter.

Edit- maybe you haven't driven a Subaru that runs through the gears this quickly. I found a video of Matt driving his WRX (mid 9 second car vs my car which ran 10.6 when it had 100 less whp).
He doesn't let go of the shifter the whole pass. Go to 1:10 to see in car.

Haha I myself have a 600whp 66mm miata and i know with a low power to weight ratio things happen quickly. Relatively Few big power builds wreck it though. Prob cuz it takes so much time and money and r&d that you realllly dont wana break ur baby.

Nyways please keep posting up the rape vids

Yes, but that is on the track, not the street . Also spark cut flat shift is a joy and lets ya enjoy that clutch in time a lil more. I recommend flat shoft for the street and both hands on wheel lol

No you have a miata that SHOULD make 600hp. But you do have a sawall with 600 hp and have made every excuse possible why it hasnt including running out of meth on the dyno and not noticing till later and breaking a transmission driving to the dyno shop.

So true. Pretty much after the launch in 1st gear I'll never have my hands back on the wheel. Of course if the car starts to wander in 3rd or 4th then I'll get both hands back on the wheel.

Yes ^ !!!! win

and yeah it stupid to think your going to leave the line hard on lc and have both hands on the wheel and not pound the limiter for 4 seconds moving hand to shifter lol and what not. its easy to tell the ones who have no idea just how fast first gear and even second is gone when you can hook and run out first gear fast.

LOOking sweet cam
