Default question for air fuel gauge and oxygen sensor

ok so lets say that i bought a single wire oxygen sensor and placed it in the uppipe egt sensor spot, would that be safe, and would it give me an accurate reading using a autometer gauge. cause right now im tapped off the rear sensor with a cel fix and its slow to respond and doesnt seem terribly accurate

The only accurate A/F setup will be one that uses a wideband sensor. What you're describing may be marginally better than tapping off the rear 02 but it's still essentially a waste of time and money.

Default attention o2 sensor will not fit in egt bung

yeah i bought an o2 sensor to put in the uppipe, it didnt work. i figured i could place the same sensor after the turbo btw its unheated and probably wouldnt work.

i went ahead and just left it as it was reading off the BLUE WIRE on the oxygen sensor. when read off the white it simly reads a constant lean. now it reads but it lags because its after the turbo so thats why its slow to respond. thats at least what i have come to the conclusion of. just thought id say. man this was alot of trouble for nothing.
