Painted my front and rear strut bars with spray on bedliner. Left the brackets the same. This is the best and most durable stuff I have found. So far I have made a rear bumper scuff guard and used it on my roof rack cross bars.

i installed my DIY quad projector beam headlamps. including the fog projectors i guess it's a projector lens sextet

recently tried this mod for my 2005 Legacy GT 5MT wagon. The results are in the pics, i guess. the highbeam projector is bigger than the lowbeam... reminds me of the Supra!

Note- I left out the shroud pieces (the lettuce in the headlight sandwich) on purpose. i like the stripped out look - blinker visibility is sortof an issue, but i have side blinkers / repeaters in my OEM mirrors.

I used:
- an extra pair of LGT headlamps
- salvaged 95 infiniti J30 highbeam projectors (lots of time and labor needed to disassemble these headlights. they are actually glass vs plastic, for example.)
- 3 tubes black silicone sealer (apply on reassembly)
- HID lowbeams 6000k H7
- Sylvania silverstar 9005 highbeams

im surprised at the contrast btwn the bluegreen/white of HIDs and yellow of traditional bulbs

im a newbie so cannot post pics here. here is a link to them

- Replaced the airbag clock spring in the steering wheel. Ever since I installed the rear wiper setup last year I've had an AIRBAG light on, presumably because the multifunction switch / clock spring assembly I scavenged from a wagon was bad. So, I finally re-installed the stock clock spring, and voila! No more AIRBAG light! Can't believe I left it like that for a frickin' year!

- Changed the fluid in the 6MT. Had to use vice grips to break the 14mm drain plug loose, then had to use a hand file to turn the 14mm drain plug into a 13mm drain plug.

Plasti-Diped the wings on the front grill.
Mounted my Motegi SP10 MR2743 Hyper Black Wheels after my Spec B wheels failed to fit after my BBK upgrade.

Took 1st place in SM at the Washington DC Region's first auto-x event of the season.

If you read the video description on YouTube you'll see that I advise against driving like me, as my hand position and steering wheel control is definitely not "right."

I removed the old center garnish because it was cracked.

http://derelictsofdialect.com/images/taillights2.jpg

Found out the previous owner used household items instead of body grommets.

http://derelictsofdialect.com/images/taillights3.jpg

Then I installed the replacement garnish in the hopes that it won't leak like the old one.

The wrinkly tint no longer matched the tape-covered cracks on the old center garnish, so I removed that too. No picture of that, though.

Had a newer, low mileage manual Transmission, exedy clutch kit and cv boots installed. Love how good the car feels now.

I was thinking of doing that but i looked at a video and it made them look like they were sanded down. I personally use smoke vinyl to tint my lights

I have a 2000 legacy and I just want to know if I can do anything to give it more power instead of putting a turbo in it?

a K&N air filter will help. subarus need alot of air. you can either get a drop-in K&N flat panel filter or a cold-air intake w/ a conical filter. improves throttle response.

I went to the junkyard and to my luck they had a 99gt wagon. So I got me a wing for my hatch. Luggage cover needs to be modified a little to fit and the latch for the glove box. Will post a picture after wing is installed. Hopefully this weekend. Almost got the hood and bumper but ran out of money
