Changed the serpentine belts and found out that I need a new a/c compressor. Squeels when you turn the a/c on at idle.

On the downward side of my wrx 5,speed swap. Just need to do some wiring, drop the trans xmember cuz it's an outback, and tighten the suspension bolts. It ,iChat be a straight forward swap, but it is damn time consuming.

I cut most of my rear fender free so that I can start working on the wide body.

Installed LEDs from superbrightleds.com in the gauges, hvac controls and hazard button. Also added more reflective tape to the top of the gauge cluster to get more front lighting on the gauges.

I just tried to do that install to ..but i bought the wrong rear bar ( gc style..doH!) i was wondering about this sealant on my strut towers ..is it okay to take it off ..its in the way of installing the front strut brace ( i bought the wrong kit on ebay but at least the front works..)

might be ordering the rear again ..but what should I do about the old one i bought?

Its 4 of these:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...edge-base/199/

and 2 of these:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...edge-base/228/

That covers the gauge cluster.

Three of these for the HVAC (also used in the hazard and other buttons):

I don't know about removing the sealant. I didn't do a front brace. For the rear get a brace for an 02-07 WRX wagon.

I have front and rear on my 95 leggy wagon. I would say the car feels tight. I can corner way better.

It feels like the chassis is stiffer. I haven't had a chance to play with the car too much since I installed it. My car already handles well being on wrx struts and springs and Outback sway bars.

This has been a crazy weekend. Started my Saturday finding out that someone in California has made a copy of my business CC. So I started the morning dealing with that. Then got the rest of the materials needed to work on the car. Came home to rain. Then when the rain cleared my internet went out so I spend god knows how long dealing with Comcast about the problem. So Today I finally got to work on the car, and then got delayed by the guy that came and purchased my trailer. So I got very little done.

Got the top piece welded in and my templet made so I can start working on closing up the front. My filler should be here in a couple of days so I taped it up again so I did not have to sand all the primer off.

installed the rear bar tonight and went for a quick run. All i noticed was that every movement of the car was a bit "smoother". maybe the limits of the car are tiny bit higher now thanks to the stiffer chassis? guess my next buy are Front and rear outback sway bars ^.^

Got a little free time today and finish welding in the replacement for the body side molding. Threw a coating of filler over it for the night since I am expecting possible rain. Hope to have nice weather tomorrow and get the fender closed up.

Made some progress sofar today. Made the pieces and have then tacked into place. Have to run around with my son for a bit. But I hope to get it welded solid this afternoon.
