The bottle house has great food for cheap but they crush you on the beer pricing. Nine dollars for a bottle of Arrogant !! I can get em for 5 dollars at a six pack shop in Washington called Chicken Charlies.

I need to get together with someone who knows how to tell if a clutch is going bad. I think that mine is starting to slip.

I remember this summer when we briefly had the "Official Pittsburgh Thread Build 4.0" during the whole build vs mod debate! Whatever happened to that one?

There's other 10k+ posts threads around too. Hell, the photography thread is 22k posts. Whoever says large threads slow down servers probably doesn't understand forum architecture.

I think some forums are better at it than others. IIRC at one point they said the problems with the large threads were due to search index sizes and the crappy search indexing function. They did make some changes with the search function a while back which is why the 30 second limit is finally gone.

If they're looking to delete a large amount of posts quickly, then yeah, I guess we're an easy target. Posts are indexed for searches, not threads; the thread they belong to isn't part of the search index.

Ahmadinejad maybe be somewhat of a radical and does say certain things to get a rise out of people, but he is very intelligent and I believe he's much more respectable than many make him out to be. Ignore all the bull**** media where they stuff words into his mouth and read what he really has to say.

But that's what I don't understand - they aren't deleting the posts, just locking the old thread.
