If you wanted to get a new car anyways then go for it. They're just trying to get you in.

Year make and model? If it's legit, bet your ass you should do it. You know any other "investments" that give you 20% in very short amount of time?

But yes, ask for 125%

If you were looking at getting a new car, then do it. If not, don't...this is just a ploy from them to get you into their financing on a new car.

Why would a dealership pay more than a car is worth? Why would they be willing to lose money on you? I am confused.

because

A) theres six pounds of the good white stuff stuff smuggled in the gas tank and somebody wants it back really bad?

B) newly installed engine was a $14k cosworth long block?

C) the title was lost and the bank has no record of your car and need it back as proof to get it re-titled?

They wouldn't lose money.
They give you 120% of NADA (roughly 13k)
They sell you a new car for thousands over invoice
They make money financing your car through Chase or whatever bank they use
They sell your car for more than they bought it for (still).
