I know that our 2004 demo unit at Subaru of Dallas is for sale... There may be another one there, not sure. You should give ol' Kevin Heist a call and ask him, he knows the inventory of those things.

-scott

Also, there was a guy on here (txic) trying HARD to sell his 04 STi. You might look around, or Im sure he'll chime in.

John,

We wont be able to get near the "going price"

Our 04 WR Blue/Gold wheels demo is new (never titled). has about 4600 miles on it.

Full Kenwood Audio System
Modern Armor 3M Paint Protection Film
Window Tint
Boost Gauge

I believe it has a sell price of 30,800 on it. I can double check that figure, but it's nowhere near what you're asking.

Austin Subaru had a used one late last week. It sounded like it would be what you are looking for. Chance is the guy who was telling me about it (test drove the GT!).

It might be worth your while to look into it.

Also, MarkRx has one for sale. Search for his name and you will find threads about him street racing and threads about him selling the car.

It's got $1800 in add-ons in it... and it only sees a spirted test drive once every other day for about 10 minutes.

It's seen much less playtime than all of your cars most likely

YEah, but it's a subaru so the paint sucks. Of course, I'd just put that money in the bank as a down payment on the 36,000 mile paint job.

My favorite add-ons are the $400 scotch-guard ($8/bottle at home depot) and the $200 undercarriage protection ($25-30/can)

FYI, Subaru's come with decent undercarriage protection from the factory. I have bought 2 subarus from SoD, and one from Huffines. (potentially 2 others from AAM)...and was never offered scotchguard protection or undercarriage protection. You must be thinking of that Ford or Chevrolet purchase a few years back.

Aside from that...I agree, the 3M stuff is pretty tight. You cant tear it or pull it apart. It is virtually invisible. And does protect against those crazy ass rock chips that eventually mince the front end and hood on subies.

Whenever you decide to get a subaru...look around at some of the other guys 02-03 cars without film, and see what I mean. My 02 had 50k miles and it looked like 1000 little shotgun blasts all over the front of the car. My 05 will NOT go down like that. :d

Ive seen 2 dealerships in houston that have scotchgaurd and paint protections (not a clear bra just some teflon wax or somthing) for $500 on all cars. Its not hard to get them to take that charge off but they still put it there. They were also charging people $300 for sti floormats as a "required" charge on stis I havent heard of one person recieving floor mats.
