Its one thing to do this to a normal looking exhaust but this thing looks like a freakin snake, thats unreal.

I'm skeptical for it to come out that well, with most of the work being done by hand. What if it was just sent to a chrome shop? And who in their right mind would spend the time on it and NOT send it to some sort of shop?
My reasoning for this is seeing the protective package wrapping under the exhaust in the after shots... |

Yeah, aluminum can be polished to shine like chrome.
the stock hot pipe in this pic was sanded down and polished from the dull rough piece to this: The top pipe in this pic, the bottom one is chromed. This is after it was sanded and polished a few months prior. The alumninum shroud on the top was polished also And after polishing both the shroud and the pipes: |

Here's something from the original post: Spent a couple weeks polishing it in my spare time using various 1000-2000 grit sandpaper, mother's powermetal scratch removing polish, powermetal polish (liquid), mother's md, cone and mini powerball. |

I can believe that was done by hand. I was amazed hoe clean my SPT muffler came out with just a little brake cleaner and Eagle One metal polish.
