Default Cobb Accessport with vf34 or 16g

How does the off the shelf map work? I dont know of any protuners in WA. I have the cobb stage 2 right now and its great alot better then stock.

I love my WRX. I havent driven my turbo integra which dynoed at 349whp, in 2 months. I originally planned to keep the WRX stock as a daily and drive my integra on the weekends. To justify selling the integra to myself what kind of mods would be needed to come close (around 300awhp) to that kind of power. Can the clutch, tranny, and engine handle that kind of power? Im a die hard honda guy so I dont know much about subies.

The Cobb OTS maps work well. They are made safe, so you will not get max power with out a tune. The VF 34 and 16G will get you close to the 300, but might be on the edge
The tranny is a weak point. If you are good drive the tranny may last, if not say goodbye to second gear.
What are plans for the Subie?

+1 what scotty said vf series turbos are junk and our trannies can hold 350+ whp but it does depend on the driver and how you take care of it I think the best first mod on 02-03 wrxs are the trannie fluids go with some kinda redline mixure I run superlightweight shockproof it has done wonders for it. Goodluck, and deff do the tranny mod first I'm pretty sure most everyone would agree wit me on that note.

I was planning on getting the VF but sounds like the 16gis alot better. I was planning on upgrading the turbo, pulleys, cobb intake, and up-pipe. Maybe a more efficient TMIC. After that id like to go somewhere to get it all tuned. Then ill be done.....hopefully. Damn cars take all my money!

I made 261whp and 268wtq on a Big16G with a TurboXS top mount. Weak tune and I'm startin to think I have an exhaust leak before the turbo. But bottom line I think the 16g is a real good street turbo for the 2.0 rex.

yeah it really really is. can make great power for the spool up it offers. awesome hard hitter for an easily streetable car.

As said above, the tranny will last you as you drive it. But I would always be banking money for a good set of gears when pushing 300whp or so. Just in case. I mean , lets all be honest, who's going to spend all the $ for power upgrades then baby the car, I know everyones guilty of bashing the hell out of it at least for a trial

Well I guess future subie mods are dependent on whether or not I can sell my integra now! I love how this car doesnt have any wheelspin...ever! Controlling the wheelspin in my integra was like trying to control mike tyson at a beauty pagent.
