I went to pick up a pizza at the local pizza shop yesterday, and their delivery kid goes:

DK: "Thats a nice Mazda!"
Me: Turn around and ask "where?" (Thinking he was talking about one that drove by) but see none.
DK: "That one!"
Me: "huh?"
DK: "Yours"
Me: "Oh, thanx, its a Subaru"
DK: "I never heard of a Mazda... Subaru"
Me: "Its just a Subaru Impreza..."
DK: "Oh, its fast?"
Me: "I'm just here to pick up my pizza..."

As I leave, he ends up flying out of the parking lot tailgating me, In his late 80's early 90's Toyota Corolla with chrome wheels, stick on hood scoop, and "TURBO" badge (pepboys porsche knockoff badge) on the back.

I was asked by a girl at a gas station about my car because she was getting ready to buy a Honda Fit and since they look the same, she wanted to know how nice it was to drive. True Story.

When my dad bought his GTI, the sales guy told us that "so many people trade in their WRX's for GTI's that he lost count". I lol'd a little.

my neighbor told me he loves my car and talks about how hes always wanted one. Then says only thing stopping him from getting one is the groudn clearance looking at how low my car is. Then I tell him mine has been lowered LOL He changes topic

Some guy at my work has a new sti, has a turbo back exhaust, and cold air intake and was complaining to me about how his mpg sucks and has to put in like 30 dollars EVERYDAY. I ask him what map hes running he says whats that? I realize he never tuned his car for any of the mods and probably got the mods done at the shop too. I told him about accessport as he just kept knodding and agreeing, even the economy map. Literally the following week he told me he traded it in and got a acura TL.

Lol all these posts are funny as hell. Any how mine goes a little like this. My friend own's a Hyundai sonata and I have a 11 WRX. We were heading back to my place from a store and he took a different route to beat me there and he did beat me by a second maybe. we weren't racing just driving normally (at least I was). conversation goes like this.

As I'm getting out of the car friend walks up-

Friend: mad that a four banger beat you here.
Me: I looked at him for a second and said "you do realize that mine is a four banger too right? It just has a turbo slapped onto it."

And he was kind of speechless then said well that's what I meant.

I don't blame him though because he's not into cars or anything.

Lol what a tool. That's why you always gotta do your research before modifying your car. Watch his TL need something that he didn't know like a different map as well and it also messes up on him in someway. He'll probably trade it in again

All the Craigslist adds that say "4cyl gas sipper" or "gas saver" for imprezas and legacies.

<26 mpg is a gas sipper?

Compared to a big truck maybe.

Do you mean <26? Remember, the sign is like an alligator and it wants to eat the bigger number!
