Alright seriously **** it, since all of you wanna keep jumping in and saying its about the car even though its not then I'll tell you the details.

First problem is that Scott has this certain social awkwardness to him from the way he acted in person to the weird way he would privately message you or call you for the littlest question, does that mean he's a bad guy? No it doesn't but it always creeped people out a little bit, that however was something most people looked past and didn't say to much about.

Second thing is we are the one of the biggest Subaru clubs in north east Ohio, hell maybe even biggest regularly meeting Subaru club in all of northern Ohio. We have certain businesses ranging from start up to big time businesses that are considered vendors to the club. Messing with these vendors is generally looked down upon considering they usually help the club members out a lot. Scott happened to do something to one of the bigger vendors that quite a few of the members considered "shady" or "not cool". This was the main issue and the start of him being kicked out, with this being said a few of the admins and members who no longer liked him decided to just try to ignore him. BUT Scott just kept poking and poking by repeatedly messaging them and others in the group asking what was going on when everyone else was just trying to let it go. By this point other members in the group found out about this stuff and started almost picking at Scott because frankly most had lost respect for him. The admins then decided at the point it was time it was best to kick him before anything got taken to far on either side and there was a fight or something of that nature. Most of us thought that would be the end of dealing with Scott but nnooooooo, he still insists on messaging just about anyone he can at this point asking why he got kicked out and essentially crying about getting kicked out of a Facebook group/Car Club in which he barely participated making it to only one meet I believe? Dude is like 30 something years old or maybe older, he needs to get over it and not act so childish when something like this occurs.

Third thing, yes we are a purist Subaru group if your car isn't branded a Subaru you can't join. Sorry if that bothers you but we simply don't care, yes other brands of cars have rolled up before and we talk to them and treat them nicely. We may even befriend the owners, but still they can't be officially part of the group. Alas though all is not lost for these folks as there is a club bigger than ours and even local to us called Gripped Ohio that accepts all car types.

Thanks cpincy. All of the outsiders really have no idea what's going on. NEOSOC has over 300 Members and counting, you act like there is ten of us and we booted someone like high schoolers trying to be cool. We want this to be a group where we don't have to worry about who is representing us. We have our own stickers, business cards, bi-weekly meets, charity events, already asked by a number of dealerships to have meets and cook outs supplied by them, we have restaurants close down lots for us plus discounts, offered dyno days from local shops. All of this over one member...

I feel like I'm on Cleveland racing. I have lived in medina ohio my whole life, and I have been building/swapping Subarus for 8 years now. I have never even heard of your group. I would be down tho! What's good with you all?

The group is fairly new but it blew up pretty fast, we do bi-weekly meets in different locations around the NEO area, mainly Quakers but we just did a Dave & Busters and then a Lake Erie Monsters meet recently.

We do all of our communicating about events and just general chat over a Facebook group feel free to join:

Haha Kurt! There are a handful of people in the group that either created or reactivated their Facebook account for NEOSOC.

Just wanted to say Hi since I will be a new Subaru owner on March 6th! Getting my limited hatch from Brunswick Subaru that I ordered. Anyone else deal with them? I was not too happy with my experience. I also look forward to meets! I just joined the facebook group.

Figured I'd introduce myself since I joined the FB group recently. I'm a Jersey guy, but played ball and graduated from Kent and I still spend a lot of time in the area. At least every other month. I'm usually in the Willoughby or Medina area. Last time I was out I noticed a nice WRB sedan behind me in Medina.

Just saying hi. I hope to make it to a meet or something eventually if one coincides with when I'm out there. I'm kinda hard to miss...big black guy in a Subaru...in Medina

Hey guys. Trying to get everything finalized for spring and was wondering if there is any shop or anyone in person that you have used to roll the rear fenders? And to install some springs too. Will just need a slight roll, planning on fitting some 18" x 9.5" +38 Rotas on 245/40s with epic springs. Would love to go 255 or 265/35 but driving on Cleveland streets is like dodging land mines.

Let me know your experiences and who you trust around town. Thanks

My friend went to them for a long time. Spent thousands of dollars with them. He had positive and negative things about them, but the positive out weighed the negative for a while.... They were a little more friends then just a random customer, they ****ed up his car, he took it up very professionally with them, kept it private and even offered to help pay some to fix it even tho they were responsible. They ignored him and the situation and it all blew up into this... Read the story in the link. (I wouldn't let these guys torque a single bolt on my car if they paid me)

For those of you who aren't a member here, but you should read it all...

This transmission was rebuilt a month prior to its destruction and when I say destruction, I mean de-****ing-struction. There was not a salvageable part in it and the case is cracked from tip to tail. Literally a 125lb paper weight. I'm not a rocket scientist or a transmission/driveline expert but there is no reason for a clutch cover to just liberate itself like this one did - as per the review of two professionals they did not see any reason for this to happen either. I have kept quiet about this as I was under the impression that ownership of said ****-up was understood and it would be taken care of in a fair manner. Most people would be furious and as it was put in a post below "rawr I would crush skulls" but I get it, **** ups happen - everyone makes mistakes. Some times you have to swallow your pride and own up to something you messed up on. This was the last in a line of ****ups... The first time was when I picked my car up after some work was done to it and the lugnuts on the front tires were finger tight. I picked the car up and hopped on 480 and took the car up to 130'ish and the car started shaking like crazy - thought I had a flat tire. Once I got to a gas station and checked the tires I saw that the lugnuts were just about off the studs...ehh no biggie nothing happened, except the big gouges put in my wheels on the inside of the mounting holes. Guess its not that big of a deal right, the wheels could have came all the way off... everyone ****s up now and then. Next... My car got broken into and the stereo was stolen..again..retards scratched the pillar above the door/roof and put a ding in the door that required paint work - easy fixes, insurance is covering it - figured I would throw some work slickmotorsports way since they are a local shop and were doing body/paint work at the time. The roof paint was dull/faded so they were painting the roof and pillar since you cant blend between the two, sweet getting my deductibles worth out of the insurance company. I show up to pickup and the car and the paint looks like ****. Looks like someone put plastic over it while the clear was not quite dry yet in some spots and there are bubbles in it in places, one spot you can see where there was no color just metal with clear coat on it. Yeaaaaa buddddy. I say something and its brushed off like I was being too picky. I guess its better than the faded roof, right? Now...flip forward a month - my stock trans with 70k on it finally gives up the ghost on me and I lost 4th gear. I give BR a call about a rebuild and they can't get my car on the lift for at least a month because they are backed up, but if I just drop a trans off they can have it done in 3 days - sounds like a deal to me. So against better judgement I take the car out to slickmotorsports to have the trans pulled. I get the BR trans back and put back on the car and its back to binnis. This leads up to the destruction you see below. When I found out what exactly happened to the car when the trans was pulled off I was pretty annoyed as you can imagine but I approached it being fair and did not make demands like "HEY ****ER BUY ME A NEW BUILT TRANS AND NEW CLUTCH" It's pretty obvious at this point there is not going to be an amicable solution to this problem as excuses and theorized situations are being dreamed up. **** it - I guess I have to take the hit on this one. And I'm sure someone will say "this is why I do my own work" that is kind of hard when you barely have a place to park your car, let alone work on it. flame away.
