Question 03wrx stock mudflaps?

I saw a new white 03 wrx with sun roof (nice) and mudflaps(?). I was wondering if anyone knows if Subaru is now selling stock mudflaps on the 2003 model? If this is the case, would these fit on the 2002 model wrx? Please respond. Thanx.

Happy

Were the a full set of front and rear flaps? Also were they rubber or plastic. Prodrive makes a full set of rubber flaps in ther WRSport line.

They were for the front and the rear. I've been looking around the forum and I see people converting RS mudflaps by shaving them down, so maybe that is what this person had. But because it was a 03, I thought Subaru might have wised up and made stock mudflaps for the wrx.

Default i got my mudflaps at...

A friend of mine told me about a place in connecticut called import trim. I spoke with the gentlemen on the phone he said bring the car down and he would match up mudflaps. They do alot of work with local dealers doing leather interiors on wrx and other subies. From what i gather they flaps were generic for multiple cars. They arent the flat kind, they have some curves to them. He looked at my sedan wrx adn pulled the flaps he best would fit. He trimmed the inside of the front flaps for turning radius of front tires. I got all four done. I used to get alot of road tar and dirt on the sides of the rex, with the flaps the grime is cut down alot. I paid for the four black flaps and install like 130 bucks. I know subaru should offer mudflaps. This is a rally car, so what gives. I went to my local dealer and asked about flaps. He said we dont make them, go to pepboy or another automotive store. As i was standing there i saw a silver rex sedan with mudflaps, I said that one has it. At first they didnt have a clue and then they told me a customer customized his car. At that point they could have offered to try to make something fit but they didnt so i left and did my business with import trim and they did a great job.

I got my Prodrive flaps from England for 178 shipped to me, they fit perfectly and the customs fee was included in shipping. No need for special tools or installers.
