Default Free lift ticket for Subaru owners

It looks like Bolton valley will be giving out free lift tickets to Subaru owners on select dates this season. I missed out yesterday, but am glad to see there will be 3 more dates planned! Would be nice to see fellow NESIC members up there! Here is the web link for more info-

I've got a Coonhound/lab mix who has a ton of energy and loves to pull on the leash, so I decided to try skijoring with him. It's a total blast. As with all videos, this doesn't do justice to how fast it actually is. I've been Nordic skiing since the 70's, but step turns at high speeds on narrow trails are always a bit tricky.

Saw A few cars at Sunapee today. One 08-10 Blue STi in the front lot. And a Blue bugeye with black rims and red flaps in the second lot.

How is it? I haven't even felt like riding yet this year. Don't know why.

I was there on the 31st and nuts was surprisingly empty. 10-15 minute wait in the singles for the gondola, basically skied onto every other lift. Not nearly as much ice as last year, except for one spot on Cruiser.

I go there once a year in March, but only because I have to. Used to do Meister's back in the late 90's. Lots of drinking and some skiing too.

I'm taking this weekend off too. Had the option to stay at a friends house right near Stratton but I'm not paying $82 for boilerplate conditions. Forecast is saying 45 degrees there Saturday. Ughhh.

Probably will be up there next weekend if the temps drop this coming week.

Wildcat is closing for a couple days because of the cold. Just checked the summit conditions on Mt. Washington (directly across from Wildcat) and it's -24°F with a wind chill of -72°F. Should be colder than that by the morning.

Hot damn that's cold. Providence should hit single (positive) digits tonight.

I'll be up at Sunday River Friday afternoon through Sunday. Staying in the North Peak Condos. I'm hoping it warms up a bit between now and then. I wont be in the Subaru but rather my rental Honda Accord as I totaled my STi a week and a half ago

Was at wawa tonight with it -8f at the summit. After 7 there were no lines and by the time conifer was groomed we got fresh courdoury for a few runs.

I've been there for colder nights but never seen it that dead.
Finished out post bar warming runs under the guns in a few inches of fresh sugar.. Then my face iced over and everything hurt.

But I'll be back Friday. It's staying cold so should be decent then.

Killington was a blast this weekend. Cold but blue bird all weekend.. Got lots of fun runs in Friday and Saturday.. The cold seemed to keep a lot of the crowds away on Saturday. Spent most of the time over on Rams head at the park.. Best time I've had in Killington in years.. They've done a kick-ass job with blowing snow.
