Here's a pic of my winter rims and tires. Rims are 15" Drag dr-34's and tires are Michelin X-Ice Xi3's.

I just bought a 2014 Impreza sport premium wagon last week and I am going to order new wheels and tires tomorrow. I was hoping to get some advice from you all since I know little about what will fit on my car.
The wheels are Motegi Racing MR122 Black 18x8 not sure what off set to get 35mm or 45mm? The tires are Toyo Proxes 4 Plus not sure what size to get 225/40R18 or 235/40R18? I just don't want the tires to look to skinny on the 8in wide wheels. Thanks guys I appreciate any feedback you all can give. Alex Edit - Think I am going with 225/40R18 tire and +45mm offset. I believe 45 is the offset you're looking for on 8's

I think it will look really good My car is white so I thought the black with the white lip on the wheel would match up nice. I will be sure to post pics but it will be a while since the wheels will be about a 2 week wait to have them drilled to match up with my car and shipped.

Let's talk hub adapters for a minute.
As we know, 04 STI BBS's are hard to come by, but also costly. I have found several sets of 5x114 ones locally much cheaper. 04 STI - 5x100 17x7.5 +53 05+ STI - 5x114 17x8 +53 Let's say you used hub adapters.. What type of fitment would that give you with the 8" width, and however much the adapters give you? I've never used adapters before.. So I'm literally not sure. Also, pros/cons of adapters? I've always thought adapters/spacers were a bad idea. But figured I'd give it a shot. |

You would have to get at least 18mm spacer to clear the factory lug nuts making you offset +33
You should be fine loose is offset with factory height The problem with spacers is that you have to constantly check the torque on them to make sure they arent getting loose |

Meh. I'd rather not deal with the hassle..
How about the "GLI BBS's"? The 18x7.5 RC's? They're +38. Would those fit with a little drop? |
