Some statements such as an untrue accusation of having committed a crime, having a loathsome disease, or being unable to perform one's occupation are treated as slander per se since the harm and malice are obvious, and therefore usually result in general and even punitive damage recovery by the person harmed. For me to have slandered you I would have had to have said something that was untrue. It is my opinion that based off the multiple posts you have made in this thread and others coupled with your vitriolic attacks on others when they disagree with you that you clearly have some sort of persecution complex. On more than one occassion you have committed indirect attacks on others in different threads an example of which would be your severe service jab at myself in the other thread. You also seem to be in the habit of calling ppl trolls or attempting to characterize them as things they are not ie lawyers for soa. I have also posted the consumption ratio for my car in this thread and wrote that very long post that the fb engines do have consumption but your specific engine seems to use more oil than would be considered normal. You can mouth off all day call me a thread nazi and continue along with your personal attacks so far I have not once called you a pejorative or lowered myself to engage with you in name calling. To use the colloquial: "come at me dawg"
Still combative. Your extensive vocabulary, and expert use of it, do not hide the contempt and loathing you ooze.
I'm pissed at a company... you take that personally why??
And as to your comment about other threads, please provide links or quotes, as I feel yoy are quite obviously trying to attack my very character and my psychological state. You cried for the mods to close the thread twice and when they didnt you started to attack.

Yes, of course Consumer Reports is considered wildly unreliable by so many people. They are so very, very wrong to recommend the Impreza two years in a row. Wow, I wonder why so many sheeples trust Consumer Reports if 8,000 Imprezas are oil burning crap boxes...

I have this thread online, but oddly argumentative entities pollute it as much as possible, so any new owner who finds the thread may not want to be subjected to the session of catharsis...
I know Ive gotten several pm's from owners who dont post or have quit...
Yes, many other internet savvy Impreza owners are afraid of my logic.

Logic and reasoning are not really that scary, unless you cannot convince others with your words. Am I that scary to you?

Not scary at all. JUST SUPER DUPER LAME.
LOGIC? YOU SPIT OUT ARBITRARY NUMBERS ENTIRELY MADE UP IN YOUR HEAD AND CALL IT "LOGIC".
Unless tou actually do work for soa, then all you know is how many units were sold, and how many nasioc members have posted about oil. Those are the only real data you have, all the percentage estimation you so love bait others into doesnt prove anything.
For someone who "has me on ignore" you sure effing hang on to every word I type.

See your issue as I see it is this. When someone disagrees with you, you immediately
attack them in an attempt to strenghthen your position. Then the diatribe ensues
ad nauseum that is what we call your modus operandi. You call ppl names, pepper your
comments with subtle attacks, complain that we are too eloquent in an attempt to
somehow paint yourself as the everyday man, the david to my goliath as it were. I have
already pointed this out but alas you do not see it. I have yet to attack your character
I have however clearly stated a few words which apply to this thread. You lashed out
at the dealership, you lashed out their rep here on nasioc, you have habitually attacked
any differing opinion and have stated on many nasioc threads even ones unrelated to oil
consumption just how UN-happy you are with your car.

You answered your own question...
"Sheeple" is the key word. And after they recommended it so highly, I really doubt theyre going to go out of their way to tell people it burns oil after so highly endorsing it and causing hard working joes to spend their money on it.
CR's oil light came on WELL AFTER BREAK-IN, TOO. But you hated me for posting THAT link didnt you mr armchair soa quarterback lawyer guy?

Thats ok SUBARU prefers unqualified personnel. The rest of your assesment, well I dont need to tell you that I disagree with it and where you cAn stick it. As for feeling sorry for arguing with zeeper- he started swinging first, the gloves came off long ago, he has no real reason to post here except to inflate his ego and to defend a shoddy product to aa group of consumers discussing their situation.
I should dig up more links to oil drinking subes that really get under yalls skint dont it???

Well, my wife's impreza had the short block replaced 2 weeks ago and she traded it yesterday for a new Honda Accord. She unfortunately had lost confidence in the car. Sorry I won't be able to report if the new short block uses oil.

You call standing on your rights lashing out??
Every other owner has had the same type of reaction I had. I dont have to "paint myself" as a "normal guy", I oooze of "regular guy". The guy who doesnt take issue with such a serious manufacturing defect needs to have THEIR head examined.
I make 35k a year. Thats pretty "regular joe".
You are the one making untrue and very biased claims about ME. And if you don't like the "diatribe", please by all means, put me on ignore and stop participating if you find such offence at my sentiments and/or statements.

If this is a thread for oil consumption, and his car doesn't consume oil...why is he here again?

great retort and a perfect demonstration of you attacking others when they disagree with you. yes zeeper, myself and soa staff are all unqualified and currently on an ego trip. Your justification for your behaviour is juvenile at best, you can't even debate someone without becoming irrational. I have 2 2013's, zeeper has one as do you. I will post on any thread I like as will he. good luck to you and good day.

Yes, about 7,980 more of them, good luck.

I am giving you the benefit of the doubt, because there are less than 20 here who have actually identified their cars using oil, so that number should be 7,990 or so.

I post my math based upon numbers anyone else has access to, you do not. Where is the silent majority of 7,990+ owners?

Oh, right, my scathing logic has scared them from joining the forum.

Yes, Consumer Reports should be trusted less than you, an "ordinary joe", who flies off the handle when someone disagrees with you (which means disagrees with your "facts")

You are absolutely right, Consumer Reports is the worst source of consumer product information ever, because clearly they are not infallible, and hey, you seem to be.

Have you heard of "Joe the Plumber"?

His glory days are long gone...

Congrats on your wife's new purchase! The '13 Accord is a nice vehicle. The Accord sport is on my short list for my next vehicle.

I've also lost confidence in my Impreza and in Subaru. Its too bad I'm in no position right now to even consider getting a another new vehicle.
