Default 04-05 front end on a 06 wrx

I'm looking to do this conversion because I've always liked the front end on the 04-05's the best but got a 2006 wrx because I wanted the 2.5l engine. Has anyone on the forums ever done this before and have any advice? I would assume that it wouldn't be much more than swapping the headlights, fenders, hood, core support etc but I could be completely wrong and I'm just looking for some reassurance before I try trading my front end. Does anyone have some helpful insight on this? Thanks

Where are you located? I like the hawkeye the most and have a blobeye. I've done a hawkeye swap on my 1st Subaru (02).

You need headlights (and harness if you have a donor car), radiator support, fenders, hood, bumper, and bumper beam

I'm located in Washington. I heard swapping between 04's and 06's is more complicated though. People say they have to buy brackets from Chargespeed to put the 06 front on 04 but I'm wondering what it would take to put the 04 on the 06.

What brackets? Shouldn't be any different than 02 -> 06 like I did. Anyways, I'm in NorCal so it probably wouldn't work out since this is more than a one day project and you'd have to come here to have it done. But LMK if you're interested. Best of luck, there's several write ups and it's very easy just time consuming. Bolting everything up and re-welding is easy, wiring is the most difficult part (only if you aren't electronically inclined and understand how to adapt it to work)
