Nice hood. Was it easy to install? Did you have any fitment issues?

IMO you need "supporting" mods before you just throw a hood like that on there... especially with silver mesh and hood pins.

Silver mesh... meh... I had it for awhile and tired of it pretty quickly. I left my silver mesh on the gril and lower grill though, because it should help disintegrate large insects and keep large rocks from hitting my radiator.

Let him do as he pleases. I think that hood looks really sharp. "Supporting mods"???? The car is already a rocket.

The install was fairly easy. It would be even easier if I had a lift and some help. I did it by myself on jackstands. Shipping wasn't too bad for me since I live in Canada. I would just phone and find out how much to ship to where you are.

Let me be more clear. You need modifications such as wheels, suspension, and lip before you put on a hood like that especially with the ricey accessories.

You must know something we don't, it looks like a stock 08 WRX with an 09 grille. Does he have a bunch of suspension or motor work?

i think what hes saying is the car is fast for what it is. You dont see many cars out there, that are as quick as the wrx's. They surprised the hell outta me when i first test drove mine. So im gonna have to agree with him on what he said

Yes. Take for example the carbon fiber park bench wings. They look good on fully built track cars. As the first mod on a stock car? Not so much.

I still wouldn't define a stock (or lightly modded) WRX as a rocket. I actually agree with Khaki_man. A CF hood on a car with stock wheels is Honda territory, and with that silver mesh... dare I say, rice?

i do have some engine mods, nothing crazy but stock turbo, perrin cai, perrin stage 1 map for AP and perrin cbe.....

the silver mesh on the hood is going, its wayyy too cold outside to be painting them black right now....once it starts warming up then it will be done, i dont like the silver mesh look anyways....

Cf hood on a black car is hard to tell. Looks fine even if it was stock. Nothing wrong with a lighter hood when it looks classy. If it's not color match, ie cf on white, it looks ghetto unless wildly modified. IMO

@NT, I'm getting those same wheels but in hyper black. I hope it looks as good on my silver wrx as your gold rims look on your white wrx. Props to you man!!!!

wawawrx: what do you use to resize images? I've seen this with other people before and honestly, it does a crappy job of it. Photobucket?

And IMHO, don't get a green lip lol. Maybe on a black car, but I'm not sure on a white. Just my .02

If someone made a aftermarket grill I'd so buy one and swap a 6speed and pistons/big turbo in the 1st 10 miles.

Those are some very nice looking IS 350's you guys have posted... lol
