Nice hood. Was it easy to install? Did you have any fitment issues?

IMO you need "supporting" mods before you just throw a hood like that on there... especially with silver mesh and hood pins.

Let him do as he pleases. I think that hood looks really sharp. "Supporting mods"???? The car is already a rocket. |

Let me be more clear. You need modifications such as wheels, suspension, and lip before you put on a hood like that especially with the ricey accessories.

i think what hes saying is the car is fast for what it is. You dont see many cars out there, that are as quick as the wrx's. They surprised the hell outta me when i first test drove mine. So im gonna have to agree with him on what he said

I still wouldn't define a stock (or lightly modded) WRX as a rocket. I actually agree with Khaki_man. A CF hood on a car with stock wheels is Honda territory, and with that silver mesh... dare I say, rice?

i do have some engine mods, nothing crazy but stock turbo, perrin cai, perrin stage 1 map for AP and perrin cbe.....
the silver mesh on the hood is going, its wayyy too cold outside to be painting them black right now....once it starts warming up then it will be done, i dont like the silver mesh look anyways.... |

Cf hood on a black car is hard to tell. Looks fine even if it was stock. Nothing wrong with a lighter hood when it looks classy. If it's not color match, ie cf on white, it looks ghetto unless wildly modified. IMO

wawawrx: what do you use to resize images? I've seen this with other people before and honestly, it does a crappy job of it. Photobucket?
And IMHO, don't get a green lip lol. Maybe on a black car, but I'm not sure on a white. Just my .02 Last edited by WRBear; 01-18-2010 at 01:17 PM. |

If someone made a aftermarket grill I'd so buy one and swap a 6speed and pistons/big turbo in the 1st 10 miles.
Those are some very nice looking IS 350's you guys have posted... lol |
