I'm sorry I haven't heard a Perrin in person. I do like the sound of my Nameless. I can't stand watching videos to figure out what the exhausts I haven't heard sound like.

Or just check out the BRZ thread as well. Couple links in there on the invidia. Careful though, may be too much Chano in there for you to handle lol

Weren't you going to trade in if you didn't find a private buyer?

Seems like more money lost if you're still going part ways. At this point you could trade in at a loss and use that parts money to make up the difference on a Subie or Hyundai.

I'll more then likely keep it because I don't see anyone coming along to buy it. Everyone wants gold for a dirt cheap price. Which is pathetic because it's an 06 with 37k miles and it's already shipped up here, so the hard part is done for someone.

I thought so, but everyone asks my lowest dollar, and I never hear from them again once I tell them. I'll hold on to it, and maybe these next few mods will make me want to keep it.

Man, it's unfortunate to hear stuff like this because I didn't even post mine for sale and I was looking at getting nearly $7k over book for selling mine.

But alas, I couldn't let it go.

Glad I didn't have to deal with lowballers and tire kickers.

they are just doing him a favor. Ethan your better off keeping that car, I would never consider getting rid of my evo for the cars you are considering. Just mod it and have fun. A new car has more technology but the evo is an awesome machine.

Problem is just having people come through on their offers as well. Rusty's offer may be reliable but a lot of times people bail out. Take for example AKLGTs WRB 2.5RS coupe. Everyone was always telling her how if she ever wanted to sell they'd jump right on it, how much they wanted the car and they've been looking forever. When the time came around, none of those people to be found or none wanted to pay the fair asking price. Plenty were quick to complain about the price being too high, yet when other 2.5s poked their head after, it showed how solid of a deal it was.

Too many people that want to lowball, yet want top end dollar for their own crap for sale. In their view everything is mint condition that they own and asking near retail prices, however, when they want to buy they'll criticize every little thing possible. There has to be that balance in pricing and people don't get that, we all want to land a good deal but sometimes you just can't get THAT good of a deal.

Yup. People hounded me to sell my RS. Then I finally put it up and they lowballed or offered ridiculous prices. Then one day, someone contacted me from out of state. We negotiated a fair price and he understood why my price was so high. Now that I'm in WA, I see them for sale and they want more than what I was asking!!! With more mileage, poorer condition and head gaskets undone. I'm just happy the new owner takes pride in the rarity of the car and appreciates it as I did.
