Default A little css help?

Really out of my element here. I picked up a web template, and in the style css, its forcing a particular background image for all of the files. Is there some sort of easy way to truncate this 'link', and specify the background in each web page individually? Ive been able to change the background setting in page (and it shows the correct image)... but the external style.css is still overriding it (I assume). Any help? Thanks

I can swap out the image listed in the style.css till I go blue in the face... whatever is listed in it, is whats overriding individual page header configs.

if you don't want a global background image set by the stylesheet, why not just take it out?
