Default Seems like a vacuum leak...

I pulled the IC off, to install my oil pressure sending unit. Replaced the throttle body gasket, and buttoned everything back up.

Now it is running like there's a vacuum leak. I pulled everything back apart, and double checked-to make sure I didn't leave anything disconnected. I can't figure out what the problem is.

Any help is appreciated.

Oh...my body MR. light ( aka- coors light) was helping me out, this may have something to do with my issues.

I thought the oil pressure sending unit was up front by the alternator?

When you say it's running like there's a vacuum leak, what symptons are you experiencing? Vacuum leaks can cause all sort of issues depending on where the leak is at.

I used the same location a shop used on my WRX. It's out of the way, and works fine. I had to pull the IC to install my pitch stop, so I was already there. The idle fluctuates from 1500 rpm to almost dying, and I hear a small pop (backfire through the intake?). I am not driving it this way, I only started it.
