604 - Rear Skirt GB
Ok everyone...I have brought the skirts to don to check them out and see what he can do...problem...the rear skirts do not fit properly...I can either try and bend the skirt to make it form as close as possible, and then replicate it for you guys to get the closest perfect fit, or else leave it as is and when you guys install, the installer will have to make a cut in the bottom of the skirt and then make it flush....I know a place that can do the paint and install by the cutting for 100 bux...which is a pretty good deal....that install is very nice too..I hvae seen the job he has done..there is a cut on the inside bottom of the skirt that can not be seen unless you look under the car...what do you guys think?? are you guys still interested in these skirts??? if so...tell me and I will try and go ahead and get these skirts replicated...

I prefer you replicate after you try to re-form it since I wouldn't know what the heck I'm doing if I got the original thing.
thanks a lot for doing it btw |

Syms, I talked with Orbiter, he has the regular spats (without the extra moulding by the wheel well). They also fit at a higher tolerance then the ones we took to Don. I have asked him to bring it to the meet. Also, bring yours to the meet. We can see what fits better and what people like... hopefully Don comes out and we can "kill a lot of birds with one stone"
As a side note, Don is the Canadian supplier for Whiteline products and has better prices then the US group buy... Sunday would be a good time to ask questions. |

I asked about 3 diff body shops and asked if the fiberglass will reform with heat..they all said no..no way...so I think that is out of the question...and I know that if it is possible..they would tell me theyw ould not lie to me cuz these are all shops I work with regulaly...the cutting way still looks good...the spats will be about 140 flat...no tax..for a pair...and that place that can install it for cheap..well I will tell whomever wants to go there the name of the place

I got my rear spats from local Subaru dealer, and they fit perfectly, no mods needed.

ouch..these are 140...hehehe..adnt ehy will fit with minor adjustmants...and they look nicer thant he ones you got..cuz these ones have an extra part that extends the rear fender area and makes it look like a mud guard and makes the whole shape of the rear look lower and a lot nicer
