Default GReddy FMIC Intall manual pics

I've got my GReddy FMIC for the WRX. I have two copies of the install manual, one fax'd from GReddy themselves, the other maild from same. Neither has decent pics of the install. I am particularly interested in the pictures of "shaded regions" on the front bumper. It all seems pretty obvious, but I want to make sure I am cutting to similar dimensions once I start sawing into this thing. Anyone know of links or have a decent copy of the manual they could scan and post somewhere? Any help would be appreciated.

You have to cut it into 3 peices like below. This is what I thought you were supposed to do.....

If this is your bumper beam:

[][][][]][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

You have to cut it like this:

[][][][][] [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] [][][][][]

And discard the middle so your left with this:

[][][][][] THE FROUNT MOUNT GOES HERE [][][][][]

I'd recommend not telling your insurance co.....

Thanks STR8, but I need pics of neatly cut bumper skin...should have mentioned that above. Most people I have talked to did not have to sever the beam entirely though. Most removed a portion of it.

Oh....whoops...

Well in that case, just get real nifty with the dremil or somthing. I just trial and errored it the whole time. I cut and then test fit, cut and test fit, cut and test fit, etc......

I didnt even get directions with mine. Just be carefull and take your time.

Good luck man. I'd recommend having your bumper beam cut with a torch. Thats what I used. I tood it to my friends shop and was like:

WHOA!!.......Fire!! Fire!! Fire!!

Have dremel, have torch, will cut. I think you have to BEG GReddy for install instructions. Will check with my vendor to see if they have any better images or a car I could have a look at. We'll see.

why not just remove the support completely since you're taking out the frontal support area? That way, you can always return the car to stock...and less work as well!

'Cause I'm getting a JDM RA bumper beam through a friend of mine. Will put that on the car, leaving my stock one intact. From what I've heard, the RA ultralight might actually fit the intercooler with little to no cutting(!!). Will be interesting to see if this is the case. Unfortunately, there is going to be so much replaced on this car, returning to stock would be a LOT more trouble than it's worth.
