Question Feeler here in Massachusetts IHI Vf30 turbo. Mint!

I bought this a little bit back, and was seeing if someone is interested in it.
I haven't any pictures, it's still installed in my 02 WRX.

Anyways, it's a vf30 turbo, I ran it so far on 18lbs of boost with engine management for about 4k miles.
It has synthetic mobil 1 oil running through it.
Internal wastegate, flawless spool.

I put it in, and it was the cleanest turbo I've ever seen.
Looked younger than 10k miles no lie.

It sounds amazing under the hood and I can assure you there is no problems with it.

My plans are the following.

2.5 forged STI shortblock.
WRX heads
Current modded injectors
Intake, turbo back exhaust etc.

So the vf30 turbo would work... buttttt, I was thinking going bigger for example
Td05 18G Td06 18G (8cm) Td05 20G Td06 20G (8cm)

Right now i'm using my stock block, so I'm not sure what I want to do.
So I'm going to test the waters and see what people want to ask, want to offer, and want to trade for my Vf30.

I think the 18G td05 would be a better canidate for my 2.0 than a 2.5, but I think that it'd be great either way for my auto tranny WRX.
I'd love to get my hands on a 20G, td06 or td05, green is tempting, but a little overkill for the numbers and spool i'm looking for. Which is full boost under 4k Rpms on my 2.0 and 2.5

Lots of thoughts and ideas here, so let see what people think and have to say

what are you looking for in terms or price for the vf30?

are you selling off the injectors as well?

The turbo would be sold without injectors.
I'd mod stockers with this turbo, plenty of flow
I heard pinks can max out on this turbo, I've never tried it.
760 CC flow tested injectors in my WRX were used on this turbo.

Synthetic oil changes every 3000 miles
Wonderful turbo, testing waters to invest in a 20G!!

I'm stating some figures here. I sold a vf30 to a nice guy named Joel, $500 originally, decent shaped turbo a tid bit of play, this one in my opinion is in better shape, didn't know it was possible but I guess it is haha. So I'm saying here we'll start what I'm looking for at 600 obo. For a turbo that flows the same as the vf34 with slightly more lag 200rpms... that's not too shaby.

Again I can work on that price.

Spools like a 39, but quicker

i had this turbo a while back on my bugeye. with the same injectors and of course all supporting mods at just about 18 psi and made 270awhp and 250ft/lb torque at dynocomp. really quick on its feet and perfect for a simple upgrade for street setup.

and a great upgrade from the 39 on the 2.5.

You all need a great spooling turbo that is capable of over 300WHP on race gas with a 2.0
And consistently able to make close to 300WHP on a 2.0 with a good tune.

Still installed in the car, still working fine.

Best offers.

better than a vf39, just like a 34, and i think it's better than a vf22, not as much in top end though.

I dunno... vf34's are selling for $500 on here also. How low would you consider going on this? PM if you'd do $400 shipped.

Sorry everyone it was sold
Dead thread, and thanks Andrew for the bump.
I'll come get those when it's not raining everyday.

Vf34's are essentially the same turbo as this, except they spool 400 rpms sooner.
So someone goes catless up-pipe and this'll spool like a 34... unless the 34 is catless too =o

Thanks for all the replies, offers, and interest.

Best of luck everyone.
