My hiss went away when I got a new down pipe, but I also replaced the resonator with straight pipe so that may have fixed it too. I have the non blue tip version

You should really get the adapter that lets you use the 3in exhaust with the factory down pipe, that's what cnt/erz suggested to me when I asked them about it

The loud hiss is just an exhaust leak from the two different types of flanges. I have an adapter for sale if you're interested.

Get the GrimmSpeed adapter. It's much better quality than those cheap-o ones.

That sucks that you are hearing a hiss. I guess I'm lucky mine seems to not be leaking. Yet. *knocks on wood* Did you align the flanges correctly and tighten the spring bolts down enough? Weird. I may have to keep an eye out for a leak.

With mine the drone is only noticeable in the back seats. I have absolutely no drone in the front.

Here's a video of mine, just use headphones to get the real quality of the sound.

Thanks man, sounds awesome! Im contemplating either this exhaust or the Invidia Q300 for my 2013 WRX. I've heard their is a noticeable drone with the Q300, but I think their will always be a little drone with these loud exhausts. The price is a huge deciding factor too though I think..

Can you use the CNT Catback for the 2013 models? I'm considering it as well.

Yeah, the 2011/2012/2013's are pretty much identical, very slight changes ie; headlights.

Awesome, thanks. Also, since I'm a noob - does it need a tune after installation? Thanks again, man!

Too my understanding, the catbacks do not need tunes. If you add a downpipe making it a Turboback, it will for sure need a tune.

That was what I thought as well, but some more clarification definitely helps. Guess I've gotta dig out my wallet now.. Looks too tight with the exhaust and r205 style diffuser to pass up on.

I don't notice any drone in the front of the car but there is a little drone in the backseat. I don't notice any in the front when I drive so it's all good.

Nice headlights and photo. What did you use to paint your WRX grille emblem?
