I can vouch for DC Autoservice's work. Chris and his guys worked on my car while i was down range. they replaced pretty much everything except for internals (had a bad head gasket) and it's been running like a champ ever since. It's been on the francorchamps circuit, nurburgring and hockenheim ring.

As for suspension, i am running bc racing br series and yes they are a night an day difference even though i am still using factory swaybars. nurburgring on the weekends can be packed, but it isn't that bad, just pay attention and know your limits. saw several cars that didn't want to get passed and not paying attention that ended up on the wall.

as for a suby meet, we should do a poll. i have about three-ish months left before i go back stateside. there's a bunch of people (not all suby) in ramstein that meet up at the cola meet on fridays/saturdays in k-town. should the weather clear up on a four day, bbq, meet and greet, photo-op.

17x9 Grids (Gold) just ordered with the 245/40 Star Specs. Can't wait to put these bad boys on my car for the track and show, now time for some sleep!

Sounds good, we need to get one of these going then. Let us know what the good word is when the time comes. I never cared about just being Subaru only meets, I am all about just being around car enthusiast and having fun on the track and as long as we dominate the field. Was your STI the one they tuned through Sweden? If so nice car and great sound!!

My car has been running funny ever since getting built. With the o2 plugged in it runs like it has a vacuum leak. I unplug the o2 and it's smooth. I have already replaced the o2 and it did the same thing. You think they would be able to figure out my issues?

I've done a vacuum leak though I'm only 60% confident with it. I know what I'm doing however the source I was using isn't an air compressor that I can set the psi; I had to press the release valve once the psi would stop ~9psi (that blew off the turbo inlet) and attempt to hold the valve while listening. I did fix like 4 MINOR leaks lol

As for a track day, I want to replace:
-tires (dryrotting on all 4) --> ^^ 245/40/17 star specs ~$720
-brake pads (56k on original pads) --> Project Mu B Force ~$320
-rotors --> Centric's or DBA's ~$400/600 cp/dba
-rear strut mounts --> Com C's? ~$260
-alignment 80-120euro BEFORE adjustments
-track day 2-300euro
-DC diagnosis fee???

So it's going to be a little over $2g's

I will be at DC around 14-1500 tomorrow. PM me your cell number and I will call you tomorrow and you can talk to Christian about it. They take vat forms to let you know.

As for the parts sounds nice! I just order DBA4000's/Ferrado 2500 pads/.5mm titanium shims, and brake lines. For tires I went with the star specs 245/40 on a 17x9 Rota Grid (gold)! This is going to be fun!

Sounds good, pm sent.

Why the shims? I haven't heard of anyone using shims.

The tires will be going on the stock goldies. I'm currently running 235/45/17 Riken Raptors that are HOT GARBAGE!! They don't heat up at all!! I slid/drifted an entire S turn getting onto the autobahn, got off on the next exit, went to get back on the autobahn, did it again on that S turn, pulled over, tried out my new launch control, spun the tires, got back on post (maybe 2 miles) felt the tires and were still COLD. God forbid it rains. On low boost, 15psi, I spin out and pivet like a tank while moving. These aren't slicks here lol they just SUCK. They've done the job for drag racing I guess reaching 12.2 @115 on the stock motor + every bolt-on on 93. I'm sure I'll spin em now with my built motor and the crap "drag prep" or lack there of over here. I goal is to hit 11.7 on 93 and 10.99 on MS109 or e85 when I get back stateside.

A buddy and I were talking about them and I decided what will it hurt to try. I may never notice the difference but we will see. I am all about parts that aid for performance not how so I figure also it wouldn't hurt to buy something for performance instead of something for looks. "ALL GO NO SHOW!"

Default Ramstein Area?

Hey everyone,
I'm new to Ramstein. Finally got my 2011 WRX here from the States. I see a couple driving around and was curious if anyone does meets here, or if there's a "group meet" anytime soon?
If you see a wingless WRB widebody WRX rolling around w/ temp plates, it's me. Wave me down or something, I'd really like to meet some other subie peeps here.

Yep, what I was trying to get. Just need to get my engine the I'll be good to go. Started to get some phantom miss fires, and it's driving me nuts trying to track it down. I planned on doing an ej207 swap anyways, might as well before the season starts.

I'll be getting back to Germany at the beginning of May. I'm going to talk to a few companies while I'm back in the states and see what the can do for shipping. Last company I was talking to would only ship it to the closes port which would be a 6 hour drive. If all else fails, I'll be doing an engine rebuild and putting a stroker kit in it.

Question P0335 Issue

P0335 Crankshaft position sensor circuit malfunction.......

Has anyone had this issue before? I was driving home treating her right (heavy pedal) and then calmed in the city. I was at a light and when I went to take off in 1st gear I stalled like a goof and she wouldn't start up until after 5 to 10 cranks. After I tried those I took the keys out for a period of time (not long) and then tried again after I plugged in my AP to read the code from my CHECK ENGINE light (Solid) and CRUISE light (Flashing) being on and she started right up. I drove her home after resetting the ECU and everything seems to be fine. I didn't want to do much driving and I will wait for tomorrow to see if anything happens again.

My opinion is I think I freaked the ECU out from the stall. Any opinions? I read up on it but there seems to be very little talk about this CEL on the forums. Not too worried about it just waiting for tomorrow to see what happens.........

BUMP!
