What does everyone do for a place to stay? Camp? Hotel? Any in particular?

Camp? - Not in the DC area (not allowed at fedex and you would not want to if they did)
Hotel? - That is going to be your best bet. Not sure where people are staying.

"best bet" if you don't mind driving a little bit may be go up to somewhere right off of 29/95 north of the beltway a little bit. Somewhere like Laurel. Still close to the site, but a better/cheaper area.

I remember you Mechie3. Hope you haven't had to dig into that motor any further since last summer. That said...DC is alot further from home than Romulus....make sure your stuff is in order!!!!

Not sure where I'm staying yet....the codriver didn't get in and he usually handles lodging. I'm up for splitting room costs.....and I am not into spooning.

HAHA! No major repairs on the engine. Just a small boost leak I can't find yet. I actually moved and live in Indianapolis now, but it's still far from home. I've been building up spares slowly and my wife (I got married in Jan) has an envoy that I hope to use to tow my car there.

Get in with the Indy subie crowd if you haven't already. They're a great bunch of guys and very supportive of one another. The local scca region is a great group of folks as well.

There are a lot of Philly guys that stay in the Laurel/Bowie area and it's only about a 15 minute drive or so. Even though my drive is only 55 minutes, I might stay somewhere closer on Saturday night just to make it easier. We'll see though.

Damn these events are filling up faster than usual. I'm a month slow and already on the wait list for Toledo. Here's hoping I get it. If so...much thanks to BD for letting me drive!
